    Hello, I believe this is the right place to post about this new card Karn, the Great Creator

    So I was looking through the new set and saw this card and started crying. First off if paired with Mycosynth Lattice, which was rereleased about eight months ago in battle bond, essentially locks your opponents out of the game. Second its plus one is Karn, Silver Golem for four mana an slides right into any edh deck.

    Finally its minus two. If all the previous stuff wasn't bad enough this turns card like Bone Mask, Eye of Yawgmoth, and Crumbling Sanctuary into card draw or harm to others. Then with enough mana Leveler gives us our whole deck and Mangara's Tome,Skyship Weatherlight, Myr Incubator and to some degree Phyrexian Devourer gives us tutor potential.These all let you grab pieces with Karn or get draw, next is some other things he can do.

    Ramp, Surveyor's Scope you colorless deck will likely have the least lands
    Extra turn Ugin's Nexus and possibly Gonti's Aether Heart with some fine tuning
    Wish for anything Ring of Ma'rûf why not grab anything for little to no cost with recasting Ring of Ma'rûf or the exiled card, unless it's a non-artifact land
    Fireball with artifacts Sword of the Ages cause some times you really want old cards to work

    Sadly imprint losses connection to the card and makes the imprint useless
    "If all cards exiled by an imprint ability somehow leave the exile zone, or if a card isn't exiled by an optional imprint ability, or if the ability failed to exile a card because it was countered, then it is possible for an imprint ability to have no exiled card to refer to. In this case, the linked ability associated with the imprint ability has no card values to refer to and will only do as much as possible. It may do nothing at all."

    Finally exiling gravers for exiling on card is a dime a dozed mechanic.

    Now you say, hey how are you doing all this over and over, I say Voltaic Construct and The Chain Veil with earns plus one and a three drop mana rock or two drop with Heartstone

    God I hope this is an april fools prank.

    Welp If you can think of anything else message me back to Brainstorm a way to fit this into a tighter meta than EDH and colorless tutor for it.

    Greetings

    So I saw this card amplifire and was thinking of a red elemental deck. Then I remembered that Grenzo, Dungeon Warden interacts nicely with this card and has black to search it up. I was thinking play amplifire either roll into Malignus or pull Flamekin Harbinger and then get it back with Grenzo, Dungeon Warden. additionally Soulbright Flamekin gives a trample outlet with a couple other red instants.

    So I was just double checking that Malignus holds its power and toughness in all zones letting amplifire set up for a one shot. Additionally I was wondering if there were any other suggestions.

    Relevant rule
    208.2. Some creature cards have power and/or toughness represented by a * instead of a number. The object has a characteristic-defining ability that sets its power and/or toughness according to some stated condition. This ability functions everywhere, even outside the game. If the ability needs to use a number that can't be determined, use 0 instead of that number.

    I'm new to this forum so sorry if this is in the wrong section, however, I have been playing commander for a couple years now and I was browsing the new ravnica allegiance card spoilers and saw this mechanic. 4GU: Adapt 4. (if this creature has no +1/+1 counters on it, put four +1/+1 counters on it.)

    A card with this is Zegana, Utopian Speaker

    anyways i was thinking that you could chuck this guy in the graveyard and have necrotic ooze use it's ability and the get sage of hours up and going.

    So the question is that I'm right in thinking these mechanics work together, assuming hardened scales or Pir, Imaginative Rascal are in play to get the fifth counter.

    additionally I was wondering if any other cards stuck out to other players and if this will make for a good graveyard interactive sultai deck. Meaning the adapt mechanic and graveyard shenanigans.

    As a final note I do realize it's a hefty 6 cost investment, however, i for one am early many screwed in sultai and Muldrotha, the Gravetide cost 6 any way.
