I am hoping for suggestions for a new modern deck. I am basically a beginner to the format and have come back to Magic after a long absence. It's clear that most people at FNM are in a different league than I am. I have been trying to put together my own mono-white deck from the ground up but it was a lot harder than I thought. I played standard a bit about 8 years ago and a lot seems to have changed. Many of my fellow FNM players have fancy decks that they picked off of the web. I resisted this at first but it seems to be the way to go. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good modern deck (of any color) for a beginner? I don't understand all the terminology and archetypes yet.
