Hey, sorry if this sucks. Its my first attempt at something like this. As for the aetherborn gargadon, I dunno if the -1/-1 really works entirely for green. maybe some other sort of side-effect. Overall good though. 8/10
Improvized Fertilizer 1:symb::symb:
Instant
As an additional cost to play Improvized Fertilizer, sacrifice a creature with power three or greater.
Search your library for a number of basic land cards equal to the sacrificed creature's power and put them into play tapped, then shuffle your library.
Draw a card.
Next: A non-red, non-black card that contains the word "random" in its rules text.
Hey guys. So I've started designing a set with a theme (hear me out on this) of tapping and untapping. By which I mean, the number of tapped and untapped permanents matters. There are also many cards that say "when this permanent becomes untapped" which have no way of tapping themselves besides attacking. There are many cards I've designed, mostly uncommon actually and I might add some later (pics of one of each color added 2:19 pm eastern), but for now, here are my mechanics:
Meld (cost) - You may pay (cost) to attach this spell (this ability only goes on instants and sorceries) to a creature. That creature now has "(cost), T: Play a copy of the attached spell."
Energized - This permanent untaps during each player's untap step.
Freeze - Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a creature, tap that creature. It does not untap during its controller's next untap step.
Just to be sure, the following text will result in infinite more tokens upon death. For example, if you used pestilence a whole lot (the creature is a 0/1) then you'd have a lot of tokens, right?
When Mangled Obstacle is put into a graveyard from play, if it was not sacrificed, put two creature tokens into play that are copies of Mangled Obstacle.
Thanks for the Grigor name thing. a consequence of editing.
As for shroud, if i remember correctly he does not have shroud, because he can still be targetted by abilities.
Thanks for all your help so far. I've gone through the first round of edits, changing most of the cards you've specifically commented on, making some more of the humans legendary, adding more token generators and sacrificers (not as strongly in green and red because they sac and find lands, not creatures.) Overall it's definitely improving. Please scan through again, or for the first time if you are not one of the two people above.
Same download procedure as the first (sorry bout the work, guys)
Edit: sorry, the text on boneshifter's march got weird, it should say creatures you control with power 2 or less are unblockable until end of turn
Hey, as for names, none of them are actually what the cards will be named, they're mostly sorting mechanisms for my own editing so sorry for not clarifying that.
You're probably right about creature tokens, but I wanted a large part of the gameplay to be deciding when it's ok to sacrifice your non-token guys. I think too many token generators makes it too easy, but I might add a couple more.
Parry and Flanking: I thought of that too, still on the fence.
Stress Chain: What cost (if any) could I set it at where common would make sense? Would sac a permanent: tap a creature you control be common for the cost?
This is probably true, but I'm just personally attached to the ability and to the variety of counters. I'm planning some counter manipulation in the next set of sacrilege block, so i'm gonna keep that, at least for now.
Thank you very much for all your help. I look forward to your return. Also, If you could tell me one or two cards you think are particularly good, I'd like to know what ideas are worth exploring more.
Hi everyone, this is my first post as it's a complete large set, but because of formatting issues when i try to put it in the main text, i'm going to try to attach the HTML of the spoiler and the zipped file of all the images required to see it. If you download/whatever these both to the same place then extract the zipped file, you should be able to see a nice spoiler of my whole set.
Basic plotline: All tribes v. humans. Sacrifice heavy set.
I would LOVE comments and I know i'm making it a lot of work with these files, but I would be eternally grateful and definitely return the favor.
Things of IMPORTANT note:
3 new abilities:
Envy - You have envy if an opponent has at least 2 more cards in hand than you.
Parry - When a creature with parry blocks, creature its blocking gets -1/-1 until end of turn.
Deathmark # - Essentially puts # vanishing counters on any creature it damages.

Attached is a sneak peak at Barrens, part two of three of Sacrilege block. Art done by my friend who lives down the hall in my dorm. Props to him.
