You can say that all you want, it doesn't make it correct.
Canada = country / North America = continent
New Zealand = country / Australia = country
What you are looking for is Australasia or Oceania, to include different countries of the south pacific. But Americans are notoriously bad at world geography anyway.;)
Except that Australia is both a country, and a continent. Who's bad at Geography?
God...I hate it when this happens...whether or not he was born in NZ or not, saying that NZ is part of Australia is like saying Canada is part of the USA. Besides, Here in Australia, we have an appropriate Human to Sheep ratio.
Meh, I'll say that Canada is part of North America, and New Zealand is part of Australia.
oh great we in MI dont get one the nerest one is like a 5 hour car ride AND its the one format that I got not a good deck for I think I save my money untill I here some more news...
In the global perspective, it's local enough. If LSV gets to win a "home" GP in Atlanta, 3,000 miles from his actual home, I'm going to call this as close enough.
Dominic Lo, of Sydney, Australia, dominated the field of GP: Auckland, leading at the end of day one and day two. He was the number one seed in the top-eight, and rolled his way to victory.
Lets be honest here Wotc is retarded. They turned a really good thing into a bad thing & now because it has blown up in their face, they are trying to redeem some small amount of dignity since they pissed everyone off. Now your going to jack all of the PTO's instead of the few good one's that have already left, because of the ridiculousness of the 1st plan. This is a business ya'll unfortunately & as much as I enjoy playing MTG & seeing all the old players & people you don't get to see regularly at these events now, this is just another mistake. Do you honestly realize how many people have to show up to the event & then how many drafts it takes for a PTO to actually come out over the top, its insane! All I see is Wotc stepping again to get there money & cutting out the people that matter most. I know the math & I guess in some small measure bringing back drafts will help, but people are still being spat upon. I truly believe this will be another strikeout for Hasbro & Wotc.
Uh, the people that matter the most are not the PTO's. They are the customer, and, whatever you may think of this decision, it netted more positive customer feedback. Enough customers liked it. Many stores liked it. The fact that the PTO's have to make due on other ideas is fine. Many of them are now running their own big events, outside of WotC. See the game in the gulf, put on by Steve and Lindsey @ Legion. Or Pete's 5K series. Or the multitude of tournaments like this popping up all around the continent (I can't speak for other continents, but Self-run tournaments seem fine in Europe as well.) See States as well. That was very profitable for many of the TO's.

Actually, he probably has 2 within driving distance. Yeah, ridic.
I have 2 that are 12 hour drives away, and I'm happy about it.
You have both Chi and MN.
If you read the coverage, it was a hate draft.
