it's a bit better than watchwolf... but nothing special really

you gonna sink 5 mana into it and someone is gonna respond with a LB and there goes your turn.

This is my list of dragons:

    1 karrthus. Tyrant of Jund
    2 thundermaw hellkite
    3 dragon broodmother
    4 stormbreath dragon
    5 scourge of valkas

By the way, I take back what I said about this guy being ok, actually he's pretty awesome.

are these the dragons u play in cube? or just in general

Pretty sure i will be running this in my 500 powered cube.

it's a good card early for the scry 1 and late game if u got bodies that need to connect for damage to win

the reason I ain't too crazed about omnispeaker is that i really want to draw the card, not just look at two. Sea Gate at 1 mana more does that (yes not as good as scry 2 + then draw) but it does get you a card and not every powered cube plays that.

neat card, not sure if it will find a in my powered / rare cube.

definitely will be a card i try out / play alongside of augury owl which is a solid C/U two drop

EDIT: Sorry i was talking my cube, not all powered cubes...

I'm contemplating being able to support upto a 16 person sealed cube, for the purposes of 2 headed giant (where you take 180 cards together and build decks) tournaments.

This however is going to require a 1440 sized cube. Very big. Cube drafting has been around now for a decent amount of time and magic as a whole even longer. If the shuffling is done well enough and you have access to all the cards in the game, would one have to worry about big shifts in power among people?

Are there enough cards in the game of magic over all, for 16 people to make roughly the same decks in terms of power? Archtypes are possibly lost except for control and midrange, aggro could still live if some score lucky pulls.

feels like ur better off just getting someone else to build a cube of 720 and have two separate pods...

then faceoff for the grand champion~

I think the proper ratio ended up arouind 1R 2U and 4C.

    True
    that's pretty close

    9.55 C /2.84 U / 1.60 R or M

well a pure booster pack build (no land or foil)
    is 10c/3u/1r/m

what ur buidling roughly nets u a ratio of 8.64/3.42/1.94, so it be close. a few more cards than normal , but nothing outlandish.

Wouldnt the archetypes just be the same archetypes in Modern Masters?

    B/U Fae
    R/B Goblin
R/U Rogue (not that i see this)
    R/W Giants
    Storm Combo
    G/W Thallids
    U/W Control Flyers
    Domain
    G/x Ramp/ Big Fatties

some of the cards that i like that a lot of people might not like

Skeletal Scrying - I have tremendous success playing with this and folk playing me with it. It is just nasty. instant speed card draw for black is just dangerous.

Crystal Ball - YES, i know we are divided on it but I also try to play it if i drafted it. It gives me business when i need business vs. worthless land draws

Armillary Sphere - Just a solid land grabbing artifact. Most folks dont play it, we do, we like it. makes it into a lot of final 40 cards especially in the green ramp

it's about 180 on eBay. I generally predict these things to head south as soon as they are released. then slowly rising over the time.

There will be many, many of these on eBay, just like every release.

    Thanks everyone for their thoughts.
Thought it be interesting to run as a cycle... but if i wouldn't run all the guild charms, doesnt make sense to "force" a charm in...

Probably will just give evo charm a whirl and see how that goes.

Have you guys thought about having a set of charms in peasant? (yes I know there is a thread on this for Pauper)

i was going through lists and saw that Leelue was running Evolution Charm and I was like, man, would minding having a charm in each color

Charms, i think would be reasonable in each color
    Evolution Charm
    Dawn Charm
    Trickery Charm or Sapphire Charm
    Funeral Charm
    Hearth Charm or Fury Charm

Piracy charm would work also, but it is just reprint of Funeral Charm for blue.

    Thoughts?
