I am a big fan of Commander (it is now the only format I play). However, my play group plays a lot of combos. I my decks while on the cheaper side can still hold their own but I have decided to really give the combo thing a try. However, I need so suggestions. I want to make my current grixis deck my combo deck. Currently, it contains no combos. I want to use grixis for my combo deck just because for that shard, I have the best selection of lands/mana fixing. I'm also try to not break the bank on cards though. Can anyone give me some ideas on some easy combos I can play with access to blue, black, and red. I'm literally going to try and jam a bunch of combos in the deck to try and make it unpredictable and harder to fully stop. Oh, and by combo, I mean game winning combos as unlimited pinging damage or unlimited haste creatures for combat.

I've always been a Dragonshield buyer for both my outer and inner sleeves. However, I recently bought some Ultimate Guard Boulders 100+ deck boxes. I love how compact they are. However, they are almost too compact. I can't fit my 100 card double sleeved EDH decks in them if I'm using Dragonshield. I then bought some Ultra Pro Eclipse Sleeves which are nice and for one of my decks, I was able to take off the Dragonshield outers and re-sleeve them with the Eclipses and it fit. So I bought another pack of Eclipse and was going to re-sleeve my 2nd deck. However, the Dragonshield inners are slightly too big as when I get them into the sleeve, they wrinkle a bit.

To make a long thread short, does anyone have a recommendation for inner-sleeves that are good yet not too thick like Dragonshield?

P.S. I know switching sleeves to accommodate a deck box is silly but that's what I'm doing. I also love the Pro Gloss Eclipses for my foils. There is a difference.

Anyone know if there are card lists of the two new Commander decks coming out in September? If not, is there any clue as to when spoilers should be released for the set and the decks?

Anyone have any credible idea of when Arena is coming to Mac? During this COVID-19 lockdown, it sure would be nice to give it a try. I know there are ways I could partition my Mac but I would prefer just a simple installation for Mac OS. I find it somewhat frustrating and strange that Arena has been out as long as it has been and still not have Mac OS support. Wizard of the Coast could make so much more money getting this up and running, especially during these strange times.

So myself and three other friends were playing EDH. Friend A used Praetor's Grasp on Friend B's deck to get Consecrated Sphinx and plays it. Later, Friend C uses a card like Control Magic (not sure if this was the specific enchantment) to take Friend B's Consecrated Sphinx. Then, Friend B later is able to destroy the enchantment with Assassin's Trophy. Who gets the Sphinx back, Player A who is it's owner, or Player B who last controlled it? I assumed the owner, Friend A would, but from some brief stuff I read online, Friend B did because of some time stamp thing/continuing effect control thing. I just want to know who would get it and why/how.

I wish Secret Liar was a little more of a deal. I feel like lately, the sets generally include a few cards, usually one that is maybe desirable and a few cards nobody wants but then jacks up the value. For example, with the Theros gods, it seems like they put one valuable god with two subpar gods. I run a Xenagos, God of Revels EDH deck I love but didn't want to spend $39.99 for a card that is worth around $20 just for different art and two less valuable cards (I know others do and I don't set the standard. Just my thoughts). I wish they'd do something like Cyclonic Rift alternate art for maybe $20.00. Make it the same cost as the current price or less and with special art. Not ten or twenty more bucks than it is worth just because they throw in a few cheap cards. I understand there are obvious complications and ramifications to this but I just think it'd be cool.

Just my opinion on what I wish it was.

Anyone know when they will post the Championship one's today. They said they will be revealed on the 14th, yet, the site doesn't show anything as of now. I wonder if they are waiting until the evening instead of the morning like they usually do.

I agree boombox_smk. I wish they were all foil too. I wouldn't have bought them all but it would have just felt more worth it to me for the one I did buy. This would have been a great time to make them exceptionally great looking. I almost didn't get the goblins (because I'm not really a fan of the very cartoonish/child like style but decided to because my favorite EDH deck is my Krenko, Mob Boss deck and I want it to have some uniqueness. If they would have been foiled, I wouldn't have had such a hard time deciding if I really wanted them.

What do you guys think the next secret lairs will be, if they even have another? I think it was a pretty cool and unique idea. I got the Goblin one because I currently use 4 out of the 5 in the set in my favorite Commander deck, Krenko, Mob Boss. In fact, I'll probably use all 5. I just wish the art wasn't so cartoonish and that they were at least foils.

Any ways, what and/or when do you think Wizards will do another set like this?
