    I've been thinking about Twinblade for a while but this I'm sure of: TB sucks- really- if you test him out you'll see how often he dissapoints. Another interesting Eventide card is the GB liege though. 3/3s each turn aren't bad plus he's a lord. Bramblewood Paragon > Elvish Champion though. EChamp is an old lord aka he pumps your opponents too. Lastly, just think about Collossus. He's expensive but so powerful, especiall with a boost and trample from BrambleParagon.

    least i've heard of (that's done well, obv) would be 4 vanquishers 4 perfects 4 lannys and 3 nameless for gilt leaf palace but that's a different question. id imagine this is the same

    I play GB Elves with much success using no Thoughtsieze of Goyf. It's really a matter of preference and smart deck building.

    I've decided I don't like TB. I'll still pick up a playset when they get 2-3$ cheap and only then (unless they wind up winning big).Needle looks bad for the same reasons as TB. To maximize you need to over commit to your board and with him and TB I can't really see cutting anything for something with so many drawbacks.Creakwood Liege seems AMAZING!!! He's not Elvish but pumps all your guys no question and makes 3/3s for nothing. Downside is he's very weak and doesn't get pumped. He still looks great though just to have. I've heard it being referred to as new Bitterblossom. I don't see that but still good.Lastly, as I've gone in order from least to most favorite, I want to mention Twinblade Slasher. It's cheap and possibly good although I haven't thought about it much. Initial impressions make me think it's most likely to be played.Actually now thinking it all over I don't really like any of these new cards, GB liege being my favorite. The retrace cards are definently work a look.fin.

    Hmm. I think your main problem would be your 12 lands. In a sixty card deck, an Elves list should probably run 20-24. I'm hoping that's a typo and, if so, you've got too many cards in your deck.

    i completely agree with Shift-red. You need to realize that you've got 15 cards (1/4th a deck) ramping up to Mirri and Overrun. I don't know which Rhys Shift-red suggested but you def need Perfects and either Packmasters or Collossus. You'll have so much mana but absolutley nothing to do with it.

    @Treetop Bracers- I don't even know what this card is but it remended me to say to say at Treetop Village.
    @Wurms Tooth- You're gonna run out of elves on turn 4-5 anyways. You need Harmonize.
    @More Branchwood?- no. less. more overrun
    @Naturalize-there's better options but keep these in your sideboard for now.
    @Might of Old Krosa- no only cuase there's nothing you'd wanna take out for em.
    @More Civic- I run four.

    haha i suggested a new card for most of them.
    one quick thing to note- with all those mana excelerators, look at how many warriors you are cutting out of your deck.

    lastly, i knkow Collossus is expensive but for 30-40 dollars (i'd say get three) you get a card that will win you so many games over the next year and a half

    I heard this one awhile ago and picked it up. Wren's Run Packmaster (not vanquisher, the 3/3 for 2) is Micheal Vic. Both make dogs with deathtouch. nuff said. On another note, whenever I played a Kavu Predator I would start with a long AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH-Vuuuuuuuu as soldjaboiee would have done. Last thing, even further off topic probably is I just say "End of turn; dude." or sometimes just "Dude." when using Imperious Perfect's tap ability. PM me if you have a good name for Treetop Village. It's so akward when I name it as an attacker.

    I have an idea for a treefolk deck:

    That's 34 cards. I need 3 more to complete the deck, then check the mana base. As you see, it's a mono-green aggro deck, full of creatures with great abilities and basically hard to kill. I chose wall of roots over elves of llanowar as the only non-treefolk of the deck 'cause fits with Doran (becoming a 5/5 wall) and Sapling (+5 life); heartwood storyteller provides massive CA against a lot of decks, Colossus kicks @$$, and Doran empower almost all of the creatures of the deck. Rootgrapple its a sure in my opinion: instant, cantrip and a funny joke when played free thanks to Leaf-crowned Grin Finally, the wicker-bough Elder seems a really good help against Bitterblossom and ORing, and it's a 4/4 with 4cc (3cc with banneret in play).

    What do you think? would you put/take any cards? Will treefolks be competitive at last?

    just keep in mind that your mono green deck has a card that costs :symg::symb::symw:
