with my luck, i cascade into mana dorks 80% of the time anyway, worst case is that I get a fetchland or something back from it if i BBE into it turn 4.
Has anybody attempted this swiss army knife of a card as a 1 or 2 of? I have it as a 1of in my deck and the relevency of it is astounding. Regrowth is great and tapping down your opponent's guys is sometimes a game turner.
With the high use of fetchlands, would Shadow of Doubt be a good including in extended decks such as Bant-aggro? It cantrips, basically stifles and is really good against scapeshift :).
What are your opinions? I'm trying to find a replacement for spell snare, but spell pierce seems too narrow, same with negate. Shadow of Doubt has been decent in testing as a)nobody expects it and plays fetches freely and b) cantrips anyway, which is never a bad thing.
If you're having that much of a problem with zoo, you can also put Engineered Explosives in the side. I'm running 2 of them and they are great against zoo. There's also threads of disloyalty and condemn that can be used (as previously mentioned).
Does anybody have any ideas on running spellstutter sprites in a combo-filled meta?
Harmonize seems bad in a tempo deck. I've been playing Engineered Explosives against zoo and fast aggro decks, as it is usually a 2/3 for 1.
Seriously, just drop a tarmo or war monk and sit on counter magic until they get rid of your creature and drop 1/2 more, depending on whats in your hand. That's how I play that match and it seems to be working.
Although, I did main deck Kitchen Finks and put the MMs in the side

I also want to try profane command as a 1of...what do you think?
it's great against zoo (our bad matchup), hyper, scapeshift, AIR, doran,etc...
I like it, it stalls a turn against Foundry combo, stops fetches, ee, etc.

Discussion?
What about Burrenton, is he good enough against them?

Does baneslayer solve these matchups?
