So, this set has taught me that lifegain is pretty valuable.
Remove life gain from vraska’s contempt and it goes from a rare to a common. Remove life gain from faith’s fetters and it can get a mana cheaper and hose vehicles.
By this i don't think Runes will be that powerfull (maybe enchantment - Aura Rune )(that gives some small bonuses, some may draw cards on ETB, etc) can't see them being powerfull artifacts or similar while this enabler is only a rare...
I agree, because of this (and to reduce the cost to 1) don't expect Runes to be powerful.
With the Underworld theme of Theros Beyond Death + the couple of cards from ELD that care about 7 cards in a graveyard, sounds like a plan to bring back Threshold.
is anyone else tired of the best counterspells only hosing blue? this is 2-3 recently. blueis supposed to GET counters, not be the easiest target for them

Just a little auto-********* on my part
Wrong thread.

Just for fun...
Freyr Card

Whenever a creature you control crews a vehicle, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature.
Vehicles get +X/+X where X is the power of the crew.

Hexproof
Crew 1
1/1
Exactly what I had in mind.
Noting that God is the default front-side, I agree it's likely but also wouldn't be surprised if it's a God/Artifact cycle. Imagine a God/Vehicle.
Edit: Found the answer to my own question. Nope they are not.
Search and place a creature into play type of effect?
