I've been out of town the whole weekend and come back to the same green Primordial arguments. Who cares at this point? He's over the top. It's obvious. Deal with it. Play with it (or don't). And move on.

I'm excited for tonight's previews! Smile

Pretty sure we are getting the whole set tonight. Smile

Definitely Gruul. There's not enough removal so far to make me worried about getting blown out every time. I see most games going:
Swing. Blocks? No? K, cast the guy I would've used to pump. Go
    Wash, rinse repeat.
Not a flashy guild, but gets the job done.

Going back to the idea of the gifts ungiven white splash, how possible would it be to board in things like silence, aven mindcensor, rule of law or ghostly prison against various other combo matchups. Not to mention possibilities like timely reinforcements against burn or boros/uwr decks.
Just more ideas coming from an old u/w tron gifts player.

Firefight is MIA. They've got a new thing called Spartan Ops. What exactly it is, I don't know.

I am not overly excited for this new Halo, but there are very few games that I look forward to (Here's to you, Borderlands 2 :D). It'll keep me entertained for a while until something else comes out.

I always saw Bronies as guys who watched MLP. They could be fanatics of the show or just casual followers who watch it just like any other show. The notion that all Bronies are these raving lunatics forcing mlp down other peoples' throats is irritating. The casual crowd may be the minority, but please stop lumping us all together.

As for the quality of the show, it has a certain appeal. I loved Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Lauren Faust is the creator of it and mlp. There are ties and similarities between mlp and a show I loved. Like all shows, it won't appeal to everyone. Just how it is. It isn't the only thing I like watching, it's not even my favorite thing to watch. But it's enjoyable.

As for a crossover, I don't think it woul be in WotC's best interest. There's no way it would work without looking like a shameless money grab.

    Just my $0.02

I've got a project and was wondering if everyone could do me a small favor by just leaving a reply.

What is culture? What does culture mean to you?

    Thanks for any replies Smile

  • posted a message on Tron or Twin?
In an unknown meta, would you rather take U/W tron (gifts/burial package too) or splinter twin? I wish I knew what the meta would be like, but as is, no clue. Ideas?

Just wondering... Any opinions with reasoning would be much appreciated. Smile

Just wanted to get some opinions on the mirror match. I understand that for the most part it's a race to primeval titan. Are there any other things to suggest to tilt it favorably?

    My thoughts:
    Urabrask the Hidden
    Beast Within
    Karn Liberated
    Ancient Grudge

Would love to hear to what everyone has to say.

It makes me happy, but also kind of sad. I don't drink for a number of reasons. First and foremost, I'm sketchy with anything even mildly addictive. Secondly, it's a way to prove my own tenacity and ability to commit to something. Lastly, it's a weird form of reassurance when thinking about what my parents think of me. They always wished I wouldn't drink (especially since it ended up killing 3 of my grandparents, while also causing health issues for my parents, they don't want to see me do something similar). I feel like, despite certain rocky decisions I've made, this has always been a pseudo-accomplishment. However, When I go out, it's always a struggle. It feels difficult to socialize with others. No one forces me to drink, but you can see, hear and feel disappointment from anyone when I say I don't drink. I end up feeling left behind in a weird way.

As for something that actually does make me happy, it'd probably be music. I could be upset about how I look or about something I've done, but music (most types) can be playing, and those thoughts tend to melt away.

I could say that I like to help others, but honestly it depends. Helping people I know makes me feel really awesome. If I don't know someone, I'll still help them if the circumstances allow me to, but I don't get the same kind of satisfaction.

  • posted a message on What's with the "erotic" sleeves/playmats/alters, people?
I have friends who have the anime girl sleeves, and I don't really bug them about it. I personally wouldn't want to use them because I'd feel weird. (I'd think about using anime sleeves if they featured characters from a show I liked. Even then, kinda tacky/weird).

As far as clothing is concerned, I guess I'm kind of guilty of wearing "edgy" shirts. I think my reasoning behind wearing them justifies my action though. I really like the art style on the shirts by Fatal Clothing. If I actually wanted to wear a shirt with a naked chick on it, I would. But I don't.

I think the ultimate decision over what should be allowed at tournaments should be left to the tournament organizers/store owners. I know if I was asked to leave because my clothing was seen too offensive, I'd leave. I wouldn't be happy, but if it really did trouble someone, sure.

Ran 4 colors off of 2 traveler's amulets and an evolving wilds. Had to because I wanted to play as many rares and removal as possible. Went 3-1, losing to a streamlined G/W aggro with kessig cagebreakers.

3-0'ed other one with a r/w aggro deck. Just a bunch of commons and uncommon duders that were cheap and rally the peasants. Beat a Sorin with that deck. Only rare was the r/w dual land. May have been kinda lucky, but I thought I played alright.

Couple friends had 6-7 rares in their decks which were mostly on-color. Sorta disgusted by that.

I'm a little confused. Since the card says you can cast the target from a yard until end of turn doesn't that mean the Perilous Myr+Heartless Summoning+This=1 do infinite damage? The yard and in play are both public zones so there is never a point where the target becomes invalid or resets in a Flicker sense.

Also... uh... I freaking love this card!!!

I'm pretty sure that the myr has to be targeted again once it hits the yard. I don't think it's a separate instance of allowing it to be cast from the graveyard.

That I'm cocky/arrogant because I don't socialize well with others. I'm shy... my bad. I wish I wasn't. I'm trying to open up. Just give me a chance and forgive my awkwardness.

That I'm gay. Just because I haven't had a handful of girlfriends doesn't make me a homosexual. My ex thought that too when I basically realized I didn't want to seek out or maintain a relationship. Again, I'm an introvert.

Interning as an engineer at a construction company, there is a rather large divide between the laborers/operators/foremen and the engineers. Just because I'm interning as an engineer doesn't mean I want to sit in an office all day and tell everyone how to do their job. I want to be a hands-on guy. I want to be an engineer who leads by example. Everyone is playing on the same team. (Maybe I'm the one who should stop assuming. Quit assuming that this type of teamwork is possible. Don't want to though :/ )

    Someone online wrote it...

I scored 98% on the autopsy exam.
It's all thanks to my roommate.
I'll let him know when I get back home.

    EDIT:

There's another one I heard like the OP's. The kid is in his room when he hears his mom's voice upstairs asking him to come up and help her with something. When he starts climbing the stairs, his mother opens the front door and asks him to bring in the groceries. When he looks up to the top of the stairs, he sees a shadow close the slightly ajar bedroom door.
