jakethewhale posted a message on Edgar Markov - Low Mana Curve BuildThe newly spoiled Breena, the Demagogue seems like a pretty strong consideration. It is like a mini-Tymna that also buffs your board. If you get in for chip damage on someone on turn 2, then you can drop Breena on turn 3 and draw 2 cards and get 4 +1/+1 counters.Posted in: Multiplayer Commander Decklists

jakethewhale posted a message on Edgar Markov - Low Mana Curve BuildThoughts on Wheel of Misfortune? Seems like another great mass-refuel card (or at least forces an opponent to take a big chunk of life). Court of Ambition is also interesting to me. Relatively easy to defend the monarchy for at least a turn or 2 with all the chump blockers we have, while grinding down opponents' resources and/or life.Posted in: Multiplayer Commander Decklists

jakethewhale posted a message on Edgar Markov - Low Mana Curve BuildI don't think it's fair to write it off just based on that criteria alone. Using that logic, we also couldn't use Tymna, Purphoros, Iroas, or YawgmothPosted in: Multiplayer Commander Decklists

jakethewhale posted a message on Edgar Markov - Low Mana Curve BuildThoughts on Subira, Tulzidi Caravanner? She looks like a solid draw option that also happens to give some evasion as a mana sink.Posted in: Multiplayer Commander Decklists

jakethewhale posted a message on Edgar Markov - Low Mana Curve BuildThoughts on Crescendo of War? Sure, it'll probably backfire once in a while, but I see it as beneficial much more oftenPosted in: Multiplayer Commander Decklists

jakethewhale posted a message on Edgar Markov - Low Mana Curve BuildWhat do you think about Rankle, Master of Pranks? His ability to sacrifice creatures seems good to keep opponents' boards clear while we have tokens to spare. If opponents don't have threatening creatures, the hand attack can be strong, and we likely run enough draw to compensate anyway.Posted in: Multiplayer Commander Decklists

jakethewhale posted a message on Edgar Markov - Low Mana Curve BuildWhat are your thoughts on Embereth Skyblazer as a buff? Unfortunate that it doesn't have haste, but the following turn, it would buff itself to 7 attack, and all your vamps to 4+ attack.Posted in: Multiplayer Commander Decklists

jakethewhale posted a message on Edgar Markov - Low Mana Curve BuildHave you considered Bedlam? Other than lacking indestructible, it seems like a better Iroas. Unconditional evasion for your entire board, and there isn't really a downside since we would ideally be swinging with our whole board anyway. Five-Alarm Fire seems maybe too cute, but it can snowball pretty hard.Posted in: Multiplayer Commander Decklists
