Stay away from long distance relationships. Women need a lot of time, and attention. She was likely sleeping with somebody else while talking to you anyway. She will never be content with a long distance relationship. This is if she was even really a woman.

I wouldn't worry about it. Do what you have to do.

Morality is already an illusion - there is never a definitive answer, always open to debating. No black or white.

You had to have signed it, yes. It's unfortunate the timing didn't work out, but it's a legal system. Just how it works.

Nothing you can do. It's unfortunate, but I doubt your credit card company will deal with it. They only deal with fraudulent purchases. You willfully agreed for a product. It's part of life - people are cheap and like to scam others, even for small amount of moneys. You've earned a valuable lesson of doing research on a company before buying their product.

Life's too short for so much stress. The negatives might very well be over-weighing the positives. Personally, I'd move on. Too many fish in the sea.

Absolutely. Never turn down a chance to get it on with a girl.

The fact that she bought you lap dances means she experiences no jealousy though, so definitely only in the realm of friends with benefits. She doesn't want to date you but would likely have slept with you.

Since you declined though clearly, she lost attraction for you. So you may not be able to get that chance again.

  • posted a message on How to stay positive?
Create a list of positive affirmations - beliefs that will help you be the ideal person you'd like to be. Focus on truths about yourself but feel free to over emphasize them.

Repeat them every morning, right after you wake up. You can do it in front of a mirror as well, for bonus effect.

The key here is planting these thoughts into your sub-consciousness. It runs all the time, and does most of the thinking of life for you. Over time, with consistency, your thoughts will shift and you will not even have to try hard to change a negative thought into a positive. Because you will have your sub-consciousness on your side.

  • posted a message on Would you list "gaming" as a hobby on a resume?
1 Don't put hobbies on at all. 2 even if you did, you have to understand that people who do not play video games, do typically look down on people who do play video games, as lazy. It is not considered an impressive hobby. Telling girls you play games, even if she's a so-called "gamer girl" is not advised either. It's always a trap. Provide as little personal information as possible and focus on your assets for the job you're applying for.

It's unfortunate. Legally speaking, nothing wrong. But on an ethical level, yeah there should be something in place to not have that happening. Agreed.

Morality isn't black and white. There is a lot of gray.

Morality is different in every single scenario. Every time you have a general ideology it falls apart in different specific hypthetical situations.

Discussing philosophical arguments is the issue. In that specific situation, the cat was in an immense amount of pain and should be put out of its misery. As for any other argument, it honestly depends on the specific situation.

  • posted a message on Where do you get your news from?
There's nothing wrong with watching the general news. It's just that you need to be aware that it isn't an accurate view of life itself - there's a lot of sensationalism in media.

Never played any of the Saints Row games, so played Saints Row 4. And Last of Us. Trying out playstation now, it's got a lot of really good, older games for only $20 per month.
