I’m still a magic beginner I typically only play standard so I’m even more of a noob when it comes to pioneer.
Thune and Keranos are two of my favorite cards I was just curious if either have a place in Pioneer, and if it would be worth trying to build decks around then.
I played with Iona for one match. Played her against my buddy using a mono colored deck and took her out of the deck immediately after. It was funny, and I got teamed up on after that March but, a good story nonetheless.
I was just curious if there was a card out there with the same affect as urborg but for creatures. So “creatures are *insert color* along with their current colors”
A little background to why is: I’m trying to run Rienne Angels EDH, but most of my angel base is mono white. I was hoping there was something out there that can make all of my white angels “multicolored” and essentially protect them with Rienne’s commander ability.
There for awhile I was thinking Morophon I just didn’t like how I had to cast him to take advantage of his affects. I think I’m just going to force Rienne for awhile and then get a feel for how it plays, what weaknesses, strengths, etc.. and then do this whole evolving process again in a couple months/years. Hopefully more angels come out and just make it easy on me when that time comes. Thanks for commenting!
Was hoping for some insight. I play commander just for fun with one main friend group. I have a green/white angels theme with Karametra as my commander that I’ve been wanting to change up forever now. I’ve wanted to go naya and add Aurelia Gisela Anya etc, I thought Rienne was my answer and I tried building something and asking advice on what I had. The feedback I got was “not enough multicolored” I was still mostly white angels with whatever relevant multicolored angels. So I started forcing multicolored cards and cutting angels and I felt I was getting too far away from what I wanted..now I’m kinda just stuck. I was gonna say screw it go all in on maelstrom archangel but then I realized that isn’t legendary, I thought about atraxa even though I wouldn’t be fully taking advantage of her proliferate because it’s more casual and I want to lean on angels and also I would still be leaving out the red/white angels...any advice?
