I need some clarification with a ruling between Reality Acid and Aminatou, The Fateshifter
A friend of mine is trying to tell me that when I use Aminatou's -1 ability and blink Reality Acid that I have to attach Reality Acid to a permanent under my control since her ability says "Exile another target permanent that you own, then return it to the battlefield under your control"
I believe he is just getting hung up on the phrasing of returning it to the battlefield under your control, but as far as I understand, Reality acid returning to the battlefield under my control just means I get to attach it to any legal permanent on the battlefield. Right? Any insight is much appreciated, for I just want to walk planes and destroy everything, but he insists that I cannot.
