Hey all!
Today I have built Taigam, Ojutai Master
I recently made my first EDH deck and posted it up here for some tips and pointers, I got some fantastic suggestions and I would really love to repeat that process but with this Taigam deck I put together.
I am probably not going to purchase either of my decks for quite a while but I would love to eventually so it would be great if anyone had any suggestions on how to make it more budget friendly.
Apart from this, I have specifically left out tutors and take an extra turn cards as I want to keep it as casual as possible (I haven't played a game of commander yet and I don't want people hating me on my first one!). I was planning to win with shear value, but I might need some more wincons, i'm not sure. Anyway, thank you so much for helping me out it really means so much to me that random people are so nice.
Thanks for the help and changes, your decks are so good I got so many good cards from them. I think the link above auto updates so you can see my new and improved version. I took your advice and got rid of most of my ramp and board wipes, added dawn//dusk and wash out, got rid of some of the cantrip card draw and added coastal piracy, on top of all the other cards that I saw in your deck that looked awesome.
I really can't thank you enough for the help, I am so excited to play with this deck someday.
This is my first ever EDH deck, when I realised how many bird cards there are I absolutely had to make this deck (birds are my favourite animal).
As it is my first deck I would love to have some constructive criticism and pointers on how to improve it.
It currently is around $100Au or $60 USD and I would love to get this number down if possible or at least not add to it.
Although I do already own Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer and Pride of the clouds - maybe I cut locus field?
Also, I was also wondering how to get my commander more involved and just in general increase the synergy within the deck, (and the power as well haha).
Almost forgot - here is the deck - http://scryfall.com/@VortexFalcon00/decks/9a25af6f-d8dc-4684-8204-f2c49081223e
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this and help me improve this expensive pile of cardboard, it really means a lot to me.
