hm lol, yeah. it was (too) late i guess.
i was kinda surprise we get a better Viashino Sandstalker.
but then again, compared to bruteforce not too much of an upgrade. certainly doesnt feel rare.
wow, the blight priest is just what the archetype needed. epicur was too late on he curve. safe include, my black is already juggling with lifepoints. might reconsider tendrils of corruption again
ok, reading is tech again. it only pings for 1 when you gain life, not as many as you gain. Still not bad, but makes tendrils not as crazy.
so variations of the same card get a new set number? well, you dont have to copy everything. now we dont know how many cards are left to be spoiled and also the spoiler is often 3 or more days behind.
wotc doenst count the cards towards the 280 btw. those are bonus cards, so dont count them in the spoiler either. and if you count them adjust the number of cards to he highest known set number. X>Y/Y is not an information at all. did mtgs team skip middle school?
yeah the cat is nice, although my meta shifted away from stats matters towards, etb effects or gtfo, i might try this one. its on the interesting green 3 slot, which means it can come down t2 and trigger 3 times easily, making it a 5/4 trample which is a relevant statline. obviously its a very poor topdeck though.
i think the mdfc lands are comparable to the og cycle lands. while certainly great against flooding, the tempoloss is just too much to justify running them. and of course they have the same issue in cubes, eating a slot while not adding an exciting effect.
the problem with lynx, it can just be pinged away on the opponents turn. i can see you arguments for a threat density early game, but i wont add toughness 1 stuff to my cube if i can avoid it. i even cut savannah lions by now
Bloos Priest is strong, if you can activate it reliably. which means playing a warrior T1 most likely to make it a Viashino Pyromancer
unfortunately i dont think we can really hope to get a full drain at any point in the game.
i agree that steppe lynx in red is better than white, but as said, its too fragile and not reliable enough for us. its main strenght usually is able to attack as 4/5 in constructed. attacking as 2/3 every other turn is not good enough imo. i stick to Mogg Conscripts which kinda has a similiar drawback and only 1 toughness less.
i always found harrow better than cultivate, if only for the instant speed, but also for gy filling.

Creature — Giant Warrior
Kicker {2}
Trample, haste
If “Dashing Fighter” was kicked, it enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
At the beginning of the end step, return “Dashing Fighter” to its owner’s hand unless it has a +1/+1 counter on it.
4/3
Might replace Sprinting Warbrute for me

both share similiar up and downsides, while baloth kinda nonbos with t1 manaelf.
on a sidenote, mtgs really became horrible for spoiler season. why have any spoiler at all? it shows 366/280 cards, while lacking like 20. stupid
besides red has a million options to grant haste already.
I Like the squid, if you want blue aggro to be a thing and the red equipment for being almost a bonesplitter.

thats actually quite good. depending on the turn its even better than repulse, because it removes a blocker for 2 turns, instead of just one.
also quite nice. less lifegain than Grazing Gladehart, but it comes a turn earlier and doesnt die to shock.
boost a manaelf, play a land, draw a card, gain 2 life. what an effect stew, but i really like it. i just dont have space.
seems the best of the cmc4 landfall cycle. green is more likely to drop more lands.
one of the better pumpspells, thanks to its flexibility
