Crash Through is just a one mana sorcery that draws a card. My friend has a Niv-Mizzet, Parun deck and he put this card in. I said it's not a good card but he believes that it is excellent. Please tell me if it's terrible or not.

I play edh and I saw these world championship cards. they looked awesome because they were super cheap compared to the black-bordered versions but they said not tournament legal. I talked to some people, and they said that it wasn't allowed. EDH Isn't a tournament format so I don't see the big deal. please let me know.

Please help. My friend is addicted to playing blue/Izzet. I need to help him branch off into different colors. He has two commander deck that are both mono-blue. So if you could give any advice at all, it would be great.
