There is an Arachnus Web on the battlefield. My opponent wants to play Oblivion ring. When Arachnus Web returns to the battlefield later, where does it go? Do I assign it to another creature on the battlefield or does it go back to my hand? I'm confused on this part.

Thank you all very much. I feel terrible, because we were in a live game and had to make a call. This was our first time playing with new theme decks and we both completely missed Hexproof. We agreed the Wolf would likely die, he lost the creature, and quickly lost the game. Had the creature stayed in control, he would have won just as quickly. I'll be sure to let him know. 1. Sacred Wolf Attacks
2. Opposing player blocks
3. Sacred Wolf uses Trollhide to Regenerate
4. Opposing player uses Doom Blade
5. Sacred Wolf's player does not have enough mana to cast Regenerate a second time
Does Sacred Wolf survive or is it sent to graveyard?
