    Hi,
I was looking at the various posts and rulings about Flash.
And it all talks about a creature card. My question is what happens if the creature stops being creature mid resolve. As can happen with Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle.

Arixmethes isn’t a land until after it has entered the battlefield. Effects such as that of Blood Moon won’t affect its enters-the-battlefield ability. Similarly, replacement effects that modify how creatures you control enter the battlefield will see Arixmethes entering as a creature rather than a land. However, triggered abilities (such as landfall abilities) will see that a land entered the battlefield and not a creature.

This ruling states that Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle is "entering" as a creature but that a land enters the battlefield. As such his becoming a land is not a triggered ability and similar to a creature entering with 0 toughness it can not be responded to and happens instantaneously regardless of what is happening around. And if my reasoning is correct Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle stops being a creature mid-resolve of Flash. As such, we get to the ruling:

If you choose not to pay, the creature is sacrificed immediately. No player will get priority in between the creature entering the battlefield and being sacrificed. Sacrificing the creature this way will trigger any abilities that trigger when it leaves the battlefield, and those abilities will be put onto the stack at the same time as those that triggered when it entered the battlefield.

But Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle is no longer a creature and as such there is no creature to sacrifice, what happens? Is he sacrificed regardles or does he stay?
