I think we are thinking too hard. The set names and arts seem to tell us everything.
Teferi is in the past watching the [Brothers War] to figure out how to use the Sylex,
in the meantime New Phyrexia will (consolidate, maybe the Urabrask Elspeth story line) (possibly gather more planeswalkers, (only Chandra in the art for MoM)and use the Seedcore Tree to branch to at least a few other planes[All will be One].
The March of the Machines begin the invasions to other planes, heroes fight back in an infinity war, losing until Teferi zaps back in and uses the Sylex.
[Aftermath] Many planeswalkers dead, Phyrexia defeated but the Branches still remain.
I was blown away with is the Font of the Text on March of the Machine (aftermath).
Geez, I mean c'mon they really just did Avengers infinity war endgame. As much as I was hyped for all this, It just dissapoints me so much how lame that is. I mean we all suspected that was basically what WotC was copying but to have it in the Set name font style is just so, so, so, LAME. Even that key art or whatever is just the same as Avengers. ugh, just ugh why wizards... i was so pumped and now honestly I realize once again they just use our nostalgia for their greed and I find myself not interested anymore. I know its a rant, but for some reason it just hit me hard. Pretty excited for Wilds of Eldraine and Lost Caverns of Ixalan.
Also all the cool things .... what do you know, only in...collector boosters, special set, secret lair, etc etc, the greed doesn't end
And why Stangg?? Did they forget they already did that in Masters 25?

I think Sheoldred may have been one of the first to be portaled in by Tezz. It seems the extent of the infestation on Dominaria is massive. The advancement of these New Phyrexians is ridiculous. They seem way more deadly than even the old.
The plane is falling and will fall
This will lead to the need for the time travel set of the Brothers War as the only way to save it.
That picture in the Liliana story, wow her face is beautiful.
Is Ajani pinning the phyrexian thrush with his claw enough right there for the oil to get to him?
If you get touched by the oil in any way, are you done for? If so, it seems very hard to fight because destroying them will splash stuff all over you..
I'm more surprised that the group couldn't handle a few Phyrexians at the negotiation room.
The way they were described was quite horrific though, and if you maimed instead of destroyed they just turned into more little mini phyrexians
IF people are under the assumption that the 120 rares in this set should ALL be $20 or more than yes, I see the complaining.
Of course I live in the real world.
ALL sets have a very low percentage of Mythic/Rares that are actually worth more than a pack (even worse now with all the variants and stuff), prices are RELATIVE.
We could also argue about politicians being Hypocrites but I thought we all knew that, (just like we should all know the formula WotC uses, since they've been using it pretty much the beginning)
Just for Devils Advocate sake. People seem to be complaining that these packs cost double what a normal premium set pack would be. BUT they are double packs, there are 2 rare/mythic in a pack. So they should cost double. I'm not saying I agree with the price point but it seems that people are forgetting that you are getting twice as many rare/mythics and foils per pack. Is it still worth it... well thats a different story (especially with us spoiled on Set boosters that can have up to like 3 rares and collector boosters with up to 6 or so) BUT with no MSRP on stuff now, it seems about right. (Walmart sells Commander Legends Baldurs Gate set boosters for $8.98, now THATS a ripoff)
The return of some of these artists is REALLY making me happy. These alt arts from people like Mark Tedin, Ian Miller, Pete Venters, Doug Schuler and Drew Tucker are just really hitting where I need it. If only Chris Rush was still alive.
