Disclaimer, This is my first time posting on this site, I cannot find the answer to this ruling anywhere so please just help me.
I was playing on Xmage today, which is an online version of MTG that lets you play commander, I ran into an interesting situation and we were unsure if Xmage was bugged.
I had 2 [[privileged position]] in play (one was a copy of it) and I had 1 [[Solitary Confinement]] in play to keep me alive, my opponent had enough creatures to kill me.
My opponent went to activate [[Shadowspear]] to remove hexproof from my permanents in an attempt to destroy [[Solitary Confinement]]. But for some reason after activating [[Shadowspear]] all of my permanents still had hexproof.
Was this just a bug from Xmage? Or does the fact that [[Solitary Confinement]] gives me as a player shroud protect me from [[Shadowspear]]?
