Sorry to Necro a thread that's a couple months idle, but there is one way to make something similar to that combo work. Just not exactly what was being described here.
I play a Grixis version of it on Arena, utilizing Grim Tutors from M21, a ton of removal, and some token generators (Experimental Overload can create Eldrazi sized tokens in this deck). It might be the dumbest jank I've ever janked, but it works way too often and is hilarious to me when it does.
The deck can only have two permanents. Illuna and Thassa's Oracle. With both in hand, Fire Prophecy the Oracle onto the bottom of your deck and then mutate Illuna onto a token.
