Greetings from the XMage Draft Historical Society! We are are group of dedicated draft enthusiasts who run multiple weekly throwback drafts of old "historical" sets, drafting our way chronologically though the entire history of Magic. In 2021, with over 270 drafts played, we drafted our way from Beta all the way to Return to Ravnica and we'd be delighted if you joined us on our journey through the second half of Magic's history.
We run six weekly drafts with play times suitable for many time zones. Check out our weekly schedule here and the calendar of upcoming drafts here, which includes some must-play formats like Return to Ravnica block, Modern Masters and Vintage Masters. We'll also have several Victory and Devotion drafts where formats are selected by members as a reward for winning a league or simply playing with us for a while.
If committing to a specific time every week doesn't work for you we also run a month long double elimination Rich Man Chaos tournament which allows for a more flexible schedule. Sign-ups for the January Golden Age Chaos tournament are now open.
We draft and play using XMage which is functionally similar to MTGO but totally free! We have guides to get you started and on Sunday, Jan 2 1:50 PM EST / 7:50 PM CET we'll be running a special XMage Intro Draft - Kaladesh Remastered for new members to learn the XMage interface in a low-pressure environment with team members hanging out in chat to answer any questions you might have.
We also have a fun achievements system, stats tracking and a pickup draft channel to find players for a draft at any time.

We run weekly throwback drafts of old "historical" sets, working our way chronologically through the entire history of Magic, with leagues for European, North American and Asia/Pacific players - though members are free to join and play in whatever leagues suit them, regardless of region or time zone. Our drafts fire quickly, often with two tables per draft!
In addition to our weekly Historic Drafts we have themed monthly Chaos Drafts, monthly Community Choice Drafts and the upcoming Season 10 will see the introduction of Flex Drafts - a fortnightly draft where individual members choose the format as a reward for leveling up their Devotion Badge. Devotion Badges are leveled up by playing in our drafts - so even if you're not a god-tier drafter you can still level up your Devotion and earn the choice of draft format for an upcoming Flex Draft.

On the off chance someone comes across this old post - We've recently added monthly chaos draft and a community choice (by vote) drafts to our schedule too.
We're thinking of changing the Asia/Pacific time to a mid-morning start on either Saturday or Sunday - would that work better? We haven't made a decision yet, but I suggest you join the Discord to get notified if a time-slot more suitable opens up!
