So I've literally never played or had anything to do with Magic the Gathering. I've been a fan of YuGiOh for a while now, and have played that a little bit locally, but I've just decided that I want to try out Magic The Gathering recently. Due to a bit of good fortune I'm getting a little bit of extra money tomorrow and so I was planning on spending about $100AUD on Magic The Gathering products and I was wondering what people would recommend for a complete beginner. I decided to go looking for a forum to give me some advice on the best products to buy for someone new the game.
Keep in mind that I play YuGiOh so the idea of complicated decks or strategies literally doesn't phase me in the slightest.
