After David's last line, Artemis just chuckles a bit. Sorry, but if your primary job is investigations and you didn't find anything about these rumors, then how far does Haldrivar expect us to get? Artemis' face then turns to a more serious look, Unless he wants us to help you with the investigations.

He picks up his head and rest it in his finger tips as he starts rambling out loud to himself. Then again, they might not be true. But who would want to start rumors like those. We could ask around about them, but the streets can't be trusted for info like that all of the time. For that matter, could we even trust the witnesses? Artemis suddenly jerks his head up in shock. Sorry about that, I start thinking out loud sometimes when I'm confused.

Artemis looks at the letter again to find the message. Cunning, very clever of them. Before we start, could you give us any leads as to who it is talking about, "Find the M"? Any person, thing, place... Anything at all that it could be referencing?
Obviously becoming angered by all the bickering, Hkhah finally steps in. She swiftly moves near and, in a downward arc, slams her staff into the ground between Lyra and Percival. Following the deafening thwack, she says in an irate tone, Listen, we were hired by Marcus to escort him and fight off any threats. Not each other. If you can't handle that, then leave now. She then backs off and turns away. In a softer tone she follows up with, But I'm sure neither of you would want to leave a frail old lady to have to protect herself and her employer alone, now would you?

Now to get into my character's paranoid mindset a bit. This whole game is setting up for a conspiracy. There was Korlyn and the rat, Percival and the voice, now Dastrix and the wolf/bodies. Now I'm only wondering what is going to happy with Lyra. Hkhah is already set with her own paranoia. Heck, had I had the chance, I would've cast another Omen of Peril before Dastrix heard the wolf.

Hkhah moves to the side of the carraige and stays as near to her employer as possible. As she walks along side the carraige, she annunciates a few syllables of gibberish and her eyes widen for a second before returning to normal.
Unfortunately I've only been able to post at limited times due to school recently starting back up. Though I do try to get on whenever I can. I'll at least warn all of you before hand if I have to dissappear for a few days.
If you're all fine without breakfast today, then I won't try and force you. As for me, I've not felt hunger since... Nevermind. Let's just keep moving.
Before we get to far, I'd like to make a suggestion. Maybe we should get something to eat. Given a little bit of time, I can make quite a meal for the whole of us.
