Essentially, you would start with your hand, paladin in play, opal in play, 1 land in play (untapped), 2 zeroes in play. Keeping in mind that you only have 3-4 cards in hand here.
For no paladin, you would need to have zeroes in play, opal, retracts, grapeshot. It would dump stuff pick it up, etc...
The only thing that you cannot do is spoils for anything. The card is coded as a dead draw. (I'm honestly not sure how I can add this in, as it has decisions.) Turn one paladin just requires setting up initial conditions differently. The sheet will also help you decide when stopping and going off on three gives better odds. than continuing. Winning without paladin is also easy to set up, using initial conditions.
The program isn't quite what you were talking about doing, but it's a great springboard to get there. It lets you plug in a board state and hand, and then tells you the chance of successfully going off from there if you were to go for it. The biggest omission is that it will never Spoils for anything.
Article should be live sometime this afternoon. Gave you the credit for the original list. I figure I have now played more games with this deck than anyone now
to everyone:
Article should be going live on mtgshops.com at some point today. Not a whole lot of talking about the deck, more showcasing the program I created.
EDIT: Forgot Probe - Add 5% to each as a guess. Math on this is hard.
Doing some quick math here:
1 paladin in play, 2 0's, opal, retract in hand - 47% to hit second retract
1 paladin in play, 3 0's, opal, retract in hand - 72% to hit second retract
1 paladin in play, 2 0's, opal, retract in hand - 83% to hit second retract
1 paladin in play, 2 0's, opal, 2x retract in hand - 64% to hit third retract
1 paladin in play, 3 0's, opal, 2x retract in hand - 100% to hit third retract
2 paladin in play, 2 0's, opal, retract in hand - 100% to hit second retract
This suggests that going off with <3 0's seems very poor, and you cant really lose with multiple retracts.
Starting in September, there will be the start of two brand new weekly vintage events in SE Michigan!
Please come out and participate, because once we get a consistant core group of players from the area attending, we will be able to have larger tournaments for power and/or cash at both locations on weekends!
Both events are UNLIMITED proxy, so there is no excuse not to come out!
There are THREE ways of making proxies:
1) The first and most basic is taking a basic land card and writing the details of the card on it.
2) PREFERRED! The second method is to take a card that shares some of the characteristics with the card that is being proxied and erase any characteristics that do not match, replacing them with the correct characteristics. See: http://forums.starcitygames.com/viewtopic.php?t=291560 for more details on how to do this.
3) the third is to print out all 75 cards, and slip the sheet of paper into each sleeve. If you do this, every card must be proxied.

I guess I'm not sure what you expected?

I'm convinced there will be a deck with Guttersnipes.

Necropotence still fits in the name and number crunch. Im holding onto hope, as everyone should be.
EDIT: Got it, button loaded finally
Also, "Tron: Legacy Weapon" is the best possible name for this deck.
I wish there was a way to get a bit more card advantage out of the deck though, especially in the earlier turns.
