I've been trying for years now to find a spellslinger commander that I would have fun playing. I've tried [[Melek]], [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]], [[Talrand]], and even briefly [[Kess]]. Players in my play group have [[Kalamax]], [[Veyran]], and [[Wort]] decks as well.
I've considered making a [[Mizzix of the Izmagus]] for a while, but recently I came across [[Shu Yun]] and had a lightbulb go off in my head.
I've made a very dense decklist containing faaaar too many cards and would appreciate some input on what's worth keeping and what isn't.
I've currently got two main strategies in mind that work in conjunction with one another; the first being pinging from multiple sources with each instant and sorcery cast, and the second being to buff creatures like [[Veyran]], [[feather]], [[orvar]], or [[shu yun]]. I have cards like [[Kykar]] and [[Talrand]] as well that create flying tokens to assist in damage.
I feel that these strategies don't work AGAINST each other, but also worry that they may not synergize as well as I hope.
I'd appreciate some advice on what card types I should prioritize and maybe some initial cuts to get me started. I think the creatures should definitely be cut down to focus mostly on pingers and spell targets
I feel like eahc of the legendaries in the deck could have their own decklist, but they also seem to interplay well. I really like the concept of the deck and would like to stick to the spellslinger theme and preferably Shu Yun as commander, but I'm open to any alternate commanders and suggestions
I'd also like to see if I can't keep it around the $200 mark unless there are some real key pieces that I need. I can begin upgrades once it's up and running and I can see it in action. Thanks

I've managed to cut the deck down to 104 from over 150. But these last 4 cuts are really giving me a hard time.
I have a few contenders to cut, but I really would love to use them in the deck; [[Warping Wail]], [[Divergent Transformations]], One of the boardwipes, potentially [[Fires of Invention]] (Which I'd love to try out, but don't know how effective it would actually be)
Any advice for cuts or swaps? Are there any additional win cons or combos I could add that work with the deck?
Hi! This decklist of yours has been a major inspiration and influence for the complete overhaul and remake of my sidisi deck. It's one of my first decks ever made, back when Khans of Tarkir first released, and I'm upgrading it after coming back to MtG after a 2 year break.
My playgroup is what I'd consider casually competitive. Your cEDH level primer is too pricey, but the others are far too budget. I have a tweaked list below of cards I had in the previous build and the ones I'd like to build. I kept a lot of the card syou had listed, but just couldn't budget to add all the cards you had, so I tried to find other alternatives to some of your finishers and pricey cards.
Its currently at 71 cards without lands, and was hoping you could give some input as to some cuts I could make? I do feel like it's lacking some control/counterspells? How do you deal with targeted removal (both stopping people from removing your stuff, and dealing with opponent threats?)
If you have any questions about card choices and thoughts on waht I have chosen, I'd love to hear them!

This has by-far been the hardest time I've had with rebuilding and tuning a deck. I'm just really struggling with getting down to the heart and theme of the deck, while still keeping it unique from my other decks.
(Korvold aristocrats/sacrifice/recursion + Brago Blink/Lab-Man/Thassa's Oracle). I was worried that it would be too much of a mix of both these two's wincons.
So here is the new and "improved" deck. There's still a lot of changes that I want to make, optimization, and tuning. It needs a bit more focus, I don't want it to be exclusively reanimator, and zombie tribal is not the best option for Sidisi.
SO it's a graveyard recursion heavy, self mill deck that I'm hoping will be a good middle ground. There's a lot of cards in the maybeboard that I think would be great addtions based on other decklists I've seen on TappedOut and Arkideckt.
All in all I think this decklist has potential, but I REALLY REALLY need some help in deciding on what to cut, what to add, as well as well as how much everything seems to synergize.
Upgrade budget is currently somewhere around $150-200 usd, excluding land upgrades.

The main goal of the deck is to cheat out creatures with [[Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded]], [[Sneak Attack]], [[Divergent Transformations]] effects and cost reducers like [[Mycosynth Golem]], [[Semblance Anvil]], [[Ugin, the Ineffable]], and [[Foundry Inspector]].
And then to beat face with big swings and fling effects with Bosh, [[Fling]], and [[Soul's Fire]]. Or [[Blightsteel Colossus]], [[Combustible Gearhulk]], and [[Hellkite Igniter]]
