player A has 3 creatures in the GY and player B has 0...
player A casts exhume, does he have to choose the target or is it any creature?
can I response discard faerie macabre to remove the "targeted" creature and then get to return my faerie into play off the exhume resolving...
or can the player A then just choose the last creature left in his GY to reanimate w/ exhume?
echoing truth, bant charm, path to exile, swords to plowshares, wipeaway, rushing river are amongst some of the blue-ish answers in legacy that you could use to combat the 20/20 after it comes out.
before it comes out - pithing needle on vampire hexmage is not bad.
also wasteland in response to the dark depths trigger (after they hexmage it) will destroy the dark depths and not give them a 20/20..
if youre playing mono black, try bitterblossom, lose 1 life a turn block 20/20... then i imagine you would want to probably diabolic edict them so you can go on the offensive.
if you could follow it up with meekstone when its tapped, it won't bother you again.
What we want is this:
1) TO to Print TOP 8 Pairings
2) TO asks if everyone is OK with split 3) If people agree to split, we do not want any more matches reported to DCI as they do not happen <------- this is where the current issue lies
4) If we don't agree to split, they we play it out and we report further matches to the DCI (irrelevant in this situation)
Player A plays Engineered plague when player B has no creatures out.
Player B says "ok" to plague, and player A says "Enchantress".
Player B is playing the deck enchantress with Argothian enchantress in it.
Player A is then informed by outside parties that its not what the creature type is for what he wants to do.
Player A asks the TO what the creature type is for it.
Is the TO allowed to tell him the creature type for Argothian enchantress?
Also, is Player A allowed to now go back and adjust is since its not what he wanted?
About a month or two ago, our TO got a new DCI tournament reporting software and since then he is unable to figure out how to do a "top8 split" like we used to have before the software update.
What ends up happening is people who make top 8 are "playing it out" in his system as he sees fit and I ended up finishing 1st place sometimes and taking people's rating points even thought we never played a single match in the top8...
I confronted the TO, amongst other people and we were informed there is no way to do it.
Can someone point to an article or explain here how he can split top 8?
I tried clicking around in the software after the next FNM and we figured out if he actually went in and dropped everyone who made top 8 and then submitted the results, it would not make us all lose/gain extra rating points...
However, since that time, we all continue to get these random top8 game wins/losses.
if i have an untapped oran-rief, the vastwood in play and an untapped treetop village + 2 forests to activate it into a creature... can i then tap the oran-rief for it's second ability to put +1/+1 counters on the treetop?
Opponent controls 2 morph face down creatures.
If I target one of them with Maelstrom pulse and my opponent cannot morph either of them up in response, will both of the morphs go away since they both have no name and would meet the criteria for Maelstrom pulse or no?

player B has Faerie macabre in his hand.
can player B discard Faerie macabre in response to him choosing to dredge or does he have to do it at the end of the upkeep?
thanks

I live in TX but the closest States tournament to me is actually in OK(lahoma), further than the TX location...
Are you allowed or not to participate in the event out of state?
Thanks
