I'll hang on to my hope for Gruul stuff in the 3-4 cmc slot. Everything so far is so big and swingy. Just look at three of my favorite cards from Gruul 1.0:
I'd play a bear in draft, so that means I'd also play a bear with abilities. The costs aren't great, but fair I guess assuming Boros is going to quickly put a ton of 1/1s on the table. I'd 5-6th pick it. Late game if could help you push through.
Oh hell yes. You seen the Sam Dunn bio-pick "Beyond the Lighted Stage"? Just watched it a couple nights ago.
Quite excellent. They are such normal dudes.
And Metal Streaming Through Our Veins outlives another community. \m/,
(even though it's pretty much been ten of us posting in it for the last 6 years)
Anyways, sorry to hear about your loss. I imagine this is how I'd feel if they closed our thread, becuase oddly enough it's the only place I post/read here anymore and the sole reason I come. I wouldn't have even known about this if Talore hadn't posted there and I saw his sig.
So here I am declaring my solidarity with a metal brother. Talore, if you didn't shred I honestly wouldn't have cared, but you gotta look out for your brothers in the pit.
Ya, and don't even get me started about how half a dozen cards in ISD seemed to have been meant to be Morbid but had the keyword axed. Mechanic fails everybody!!
That's just the thing. If you have half a brain and any taste at all then it is very likely that everything you'd like to watch has already been cancelled.
Dr.Who is the only TV worth watching until Game of Thrones comes back next April. Is GoT on Netfix? Watch that if you can. Or even better, read the book...then watch it.
The Canadian teams aren't looking so hot to start the season. Ottawa, Montreal and Winnipeg are rounding out the bottom 3 in the east. Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary also started their first two weeks with losing records in the west.
Only Toronto hasn't lost (in regulation). *Knocks on wood. But seriously Riemer is the real thing. I love that kid.
depends if you want to cheer up or wallow in your misery. I'm more of a wallow in the misery type of guy. Type-O Negative, Anathema, My Dying Bride...those are my go to choices.
But if I want to cheer up, it's Ween all the way. Throw on the Mullusk and smile.
Did you by chance get to draft much ZEN?
Giant Solifuge
Burning-Tree Shaman
Rumbling Slum
Those are the cards that made me love Gruul the first time around. All this 6-8 mana stuff really doesn't make anything but a flavorful impression.
Yes, you have met the dangerous 208 year-old uncle of Dr. Octagon.
I myself Mr. Gerbik. Half-shark, half-man, legs like a crab.
Carrying a dead walrus. check it.
