    I would pretty much always put in 4x Stinkdrinker. As the post above this one says, it gives Rogues SPEED; turn 4 kills, as such. It is almost a black overrun.

    Anyway, I would personally make it an elf variant.

    Turn1: Llanowar Elves
    Turn2: Essence Warden, Heritage Druid, Tap3: Talaria's Battalion, Llanowar
    Turn3: Imperious Perfect; swing for 13
    Turn4: tapboth Llanowars and 2 forests for Overrun, swing for 24 or something

    Or you could make it (my favourite elf deck) extended, with Intruder Alarm, Llanowar Elves and Imperious Perfect combo, with things like Talara's to back it up.

    4 Crib Swap
    2 Magus of the Moat (horribly hilarious in casual best of 3s where they have nothing to deal with creatures)

    Turn1: Swamp, Prickly Boggart (or some other incredibly hard to block 1/1)
    Turn2: Swamp, swing for 1, Stinkdrinker Bandit
    Turn3: Swamp, another Prickly, Inversion if they have a creature, swing for 7
    Turn4: Swamp, another Bandit, swing for 16 and game

    It happened to me once.... *sniffles*

    If you do, would you be able to make me one: Where it says 'House Dimir', make it 'Mono-Blue Clan', where it has the flavour text, change it to 'Who gave you permission?', change the art to the guy on Remand, change the name to Darth Monkey, and make the art under the name the wand of Azorious Guildmage, but with the wand on top of the lightning. Thanks LOADS in advance!!

    I made this really fun deck that didn't last long that was designed for casual play. It was a mixture between Project X (Saffi, Crypt Champion, Essence Warden), Reveillark and 420.5n. The only problem I had is the mana base (it consisted of Murmuring Bosk, Pain lands and Filter lands). Just thought I'd let you know - it worked pretty well. I would actually suggest putting in Reveillark, if only a singleton as it can return Natuko Husk if you use it, Juniper or Redcap. It worked really well for me.

    Corrupt + 10 swamps or so (it's control...) = 1/2 of their life total, raising yours to help negate mid-range aggro if it hits T-10 -----I would run 3

    Quicksand + Any Kithkin or Elf = Dead ------ 1 - 4

    I would suggest Tarmogoyf but the thread is mono-black.

    The idea (or at least the one that I thought) of QnT is that it is 5 colours, so you can really just throw in whatever. It can therefore really be played in aby standard environment in the near future.

    or
    5 plains, acting like the tribes of Lorwyn/Shadowmoor - they each are made up of 1, 2 or 3 colours - each plane would have their own funky name!

  • posted a message on Uberboys destroying FNM for local shops
    At my FNM events, held on Thursdays (laugh), the winner gets a rare form the store folder, the next 3 get an uncommon or so, and the rest get an FNM foil or playset, depending on the placing. The store has been holding FNMs for 7 weeks and there are 25 players or so, when it started at 15. This pretty much proves that spreading out the prize pool is a way to deal with the Uberboys.

    I think that black and blue are the most powerful colours, at least at my store - they have really powerful control elements. Red and green would probably be the next, (rdw, r/g aggro) and white, although is great, I would rate the least powerful.
