I really expecting most U/W players will SB Settle the Wreckage, how do you play around that card? Try to save a Bogle in your hand?

    Played a Tourney recently:

    Round 1 vs Abzan Company:

Game 1 - I Kept a hand with Bogle, 4 enchantment, 1 Leyline, 1 land on the play, then I never draw a land for 5 turns, he eventually found a Infinite Walking Balista and I lost. It was really close, got him to 2 life
Game 2 - Got him to 2 life but he found the combo so yeah... I sided in Gaddock Teeg to stop his Company and Chord but he didn't used them to win.

I should side in 2 more path and put a Cage in my sideboard, (btw is Teeg very effective in this matchup?)_

    Round 2 vs Jund

Game 1 - I don't have Leyline, he on the play, I keep a hand with 2 land 1 Bogle, 4 Enchantmnt, he discarded by Bogle, I didn't draw another creature, and it is too slow for me.
Game 2 - Won due to my huge bogle.
Game 3 - Very close game, he tried to Liliana sac my Bogle, but I respond with fetch to get Dryad, then next turn he didn't have another Liliana and I won. (Almost 0-2 :/)

    Round 3 vs Grixis Control

Game 1 - He don't have any anwser for a big bogle.
Game 2 - He have EE, cleared my field, then drop down a Tasigur, I have another bogle in hand, there was 2 Gryff's Boon in my graveyard to enhant back to my Bogle, then a Daybreak he don't have counter for it.

    Round 3 vs Jund

Game 1 - beat down with a big Bogle
Game 2 - He discard my Bogle, killed my Spirit Dancer, Dark Confidant always draw him more card without losing life. Then I top deck like 5 lands >.<
Game 3 - Got him down to 2 life, I have a big bogle without other creature and no Leyline, his only out was to hardcast BBE into a Liliana of the Veil, then his BBE cascade hit bolt... next 2 card was Liliana.

Went from 0-1 to 3-1 ... was a long grind, still new to the deck, have to practice how to mulligan well I guess.

I have foiled out my Forests in my Ruric Thar deck with this art, I just like the simplification.

    https://magiccards.info/akh/en/266.html

This mountain full art is my foil basic mountains in my Ruric Thar deck, to match with the forest.

Some other non full-art basics I liked the most:

    Most favorite swamp art

    https://magiccards.info/ths/en/241.html

    mountain art

    https://magiccards.info/ths/en/245.html

    forest art

    https://magiccards.info/m10/en/246.html

    island art

    https://magiccards.info/ths/en/237.html

Plains art (hard to pick, probably Guay's art)

    https://magiccards.info/c16/en/337.html

I also like the Commander 2016 basics, they're nice and easy to find.

Played 4-1 MTGO Competitive League Today:

    2-0 Gr Tron
    0-2 GR Vengevine
    2-0 GR Vengevine
    2-0 Gr Tron
    2-0 GR Moon Aggro

Second game vs GR Vengevine was so cool that I uploaded it on YouTube. You can watch it if you want.

Anyway BR Hollow One and GR Vengevine are tough matchups for Land Destruction.

Yeah I played an SCG IQ recently.

I got stomped by like 3 B/R Hollow One in the room...

    One match was like:

    Turn 1 Flameblade Adept.
Turn 2 ... doing some discard stuff, drop Hollow One and Tasigur... how do you even beat that.

I think Scavenging Ooze is kinda important here, he is body can help you do the blocking for few rounds, then you hope you draw your Titan to stable the field, but even with Ooze it is still a tough matchup.

Relics is actually worse than Ooze since it is not a creature, and sometimes you won't get to draw anything at all with Relics.

I also think R/G Eldrazi is quite of a tough deck to deal with, if they often have Birds/Hierarch turn 1, it is pretty rough, even if you destory their lands, they can still ramp very fast.

(Need to get Blood Moon out quick and hopefully you are on the play)

Obligator stealing your Infernal Titan to do a loop sided swing is even more painful to watch.

I think this card is somehow very revelant, Temur Midrange/Moon decks usually runs it, it is good in grindly midrange matchups.

It is really depend on your deck.

R/G Ponza, Kia and Kiran Nalaar is better due to its ability to sac artifact and hit opponents, and flying blockers!

Jund, obviously BBE outclassed this card.

So the only choice for this card to stay in a deck is probably Temur decks.

It is a rotating format, so for me it is a no...

I play Modern/EDH, mainly because they are not rotating so its good.

    My sideboard plan is like:

    Affinity:

Out: 4 Stone Rain, 3 Molten Rain, Chandra TOD.
In: Ancient Grudge 2, Anger 2, Fracturing Gust, Abrade, 2 Kitchen Finks.

(LD does absolutely nothing here, they are too fast, it is a huge tempo lose, Blood Moon is revelant in this matchup as it shutdown their manlands)

    Burn:

Out: Nissa, TOF, 3 Molten Rain
In: 2 Trinisphere, 2 Kitchen Finks, Obstinate Baloth.

    Jund:

Out: 3 Bolt (this only deals with BoB), Courser (pumps goyf is bad).
In: Obstinate Baloth, Thrun, 2 Relics of Progenitus.

    U/W/x:

    Out: 3 Bolt.
    In: 2 Relics, Thrun.

    Human:

Out: Nissa, Chandra TOD, 1 Molten Rain.
    In: 2 Anger, 1 Abrade.

    Grixis or 4 color GDS:

Haven't seen this deck lately due to BBE unban.

Maybe out: Courser, Chandra (can't hit Tasigur and Angler ...), 3 Bolt.
In: 2 Relics, Thrun, 2 Kitchen Finks.

    Hollow One:

    This is tough matchup

Out: 4x Blood Moon, 1 Nissa.
    In: 2 Relics, 2 Anger, 1 Abrade.

    Storm:

Out: Tireless Tracker (too slow), 1 Nissa.
In: 2 Trinisphere, 1 Choke, 2 Relics of Progenitus.

    Bogles:

Haven't faced this deck before, probably:

    Out: Pia Nalaar, Courser, Nissa.
In: 2 Trinisphere, 1 Fracturing Gust.

    Other Rogue decks:

The simple sideboard plan stratedgy is just figure out what cards in your maindeck seems to be awful againsts the opponents deck in G1, then deside on what sideboard options are good to combat against your opponents deck.

Did a FNM Modern today, results are:

    U/W Control win 2-1

Game 1 - Turn 2 Blood Moon, he can't do anything.
Game 2 - Lost due to not drawing LD/Gas, and keep topdecking lands.
Game 3 - I was trying to pressure his health really low, I attacked with Tracker, Courser, BBE. He hardcasted Settle the Wreckage, looked like a instant blowout, but however, he was not drawing enough lands, I use Stone Rain, Molten Rain to keep attack his manabase, lategame he had Gideon of the Trail, my Inferno Titan run it over.

    Jund win 2-0

Game 1 - He discard my Blood Moon, then discard my LD spell, I have 2 Arbor Elf, Utopia Brawl, He used Thoughtseize to discard my Inferno Titan, have a Goyf and Ooze on board, I topdecked another Inferno Titan, killed his Ooze, now his Goyf can't beat titan so yeah...
Game 2 - This game he doesn't have any discard vs me, I ramp into fast Inferno Titan...

    Jund win 2-1

Game 1 - Me on the play, cast bunch of LD, Jund was too alow. Titan did the work.
Game 2 - I keep a hand like ... 3 land, Tracker, BBE, BBE, Thrun, I thought I could draw into a dork or Spawl, Jund had big 5/6 Goyf. Later on it was like I had 2 land, 1 land with Utopia Spawl on, I can cast a 4 mana spell next turn, but he casted a BBE into Abrupt Decay to get rid of my Utopia Spawl... now he have BBE and Goyf attacking so I lose.
Game 3 - My hand was like, Forest, Arbor Elf, Utopia Spawl, Molten Rain, Stone Rain, Chandra TOF, Kessig Wolf Run. I play turn 1 elf, next turn he used Thoughtseize to get rid of my Utopia Spawl so I can have no red source, then on my turn I topdecked a Wooded Foothill to cast Molten Rain on his Blackcleave, then his turn he play Raging Ravine, I got rid of that with Stone Rain. Now it is way too behind for Jund, I drop down Chandra TOF and pia and Kiran Nalaar to seal the deal.

Last Match vs Ironclan Combo, split (played for fun I won, Trinisphere did the work).

Choke wasn't that amazing vs U/W Control I have to say... they only run like 5 Island.

Nissa, Voice of Zendikar is not that amazing I think, would rathing have 4th copy of Milten Rain, now running 3.

Im not sure if add 1 more Misty to support Tracker would be great, now im running 8 fetch, Wolf-Run.

Congrats on the good finish. Nice work beating those Jund decks.

How many Titan do you use? Smile

3 Titan 1 Kia Nalaar in the main, I just think that card is a serious beating vs some decks.

Some tournament report here, was playing a Modern daily:

Round 1 vs Jeskai Control 2-0

Game 1 - He kept a hand with Celestrial Colonade and 6 spell on the play, then he didn't find a land with Serum Vision turn 2, his turn 3 he found a basic island, but I managed to destroy his Colonade, then later on I drop down a quick Stormbreath and he just can't keep up.

Game 2 - I think this game I quickly get rid of his white mana, he did a Clique during my draw step to get rid of one of my spell, I draw Inferno Titan off his Clique, then my Titan killed him, he don't have white source.

    Round 2 vs Jund 2-1

Game 1 - He is on the play, turn 1 discard, turn 2 Dark Confidant, I don't have a bolt to anwser that, then he draw a Goyf, discard one of my key LD spell, his Goyf got bigger so he had a quick clock to put my health low, then I somehow slam down a Infernal Titan, but my Titan can't do enough, then he drop down a BBE, my Titan was almost killed him but he have a bolt, oh well.

Game 2 - This game I think I drop down a early Blood Moon, and I destroy his basics, I have a Tracker he can't seem to find anwsers for it.

Game 3 - Was kind of a grindly game, he didn't have decay for my Blood Moon, my Tracker again help me to get 5 clue and he can't keep up with that.

    Round 3 - Affinity 2-1

Game 1 - Was a close game, my Infernal Titan got there by killing his creatures.

Game 2 - He have a really big board state, I play BBE cascade into Anger of the God, can't kill his Etched Champion, his Etched champion equipped with Plating and G blast killed me

Game 3 - Fracturing Gust wiped his board... yeah it is over.

    Round 4 R/G Hollow One - 1-2

Game 1 - I had a Blood Moon early, but his deck doesn't really care about Blood Moon, he drop down a early Hollow One and Phoneix, I can't top deck a Stormbreath or Titan.

Game 2 - I made a mistake of Keeping the Blood Moon, but I think I got that game by destroy his land.

Game 3 - He used early Burning Inquiry, I dropped down a Obstinate Baloth, but still can't keep up with his fast beaters like Hollow One, Vengevine, Phoneix etc. My Trinisphere came up late, and I was also stunk on 2 land for like 2 turns.

(Hmm I think Anger of the God should be in for this matchup... Hollow One is kind of a fast deck still)

Overall I want to say Ponza is a nice deck, 4 Tracker is a must tbh, the card adds way too much value and gas.

Im not sure if I should go with 3 Inferno Titan 1 Courser, or 2 Stormbreath, 2 Inferno Titan, gonna test it out, 1 Pia and Kiran seems good in the deck.

Baral, Kess, Tasigur, Zur, Arcum, Breya.

The 4 color blue partner ones are good too, but you need lots of $ for manabase.

Next turn my opponent cast a Farseek, I flip top of my Library and got Ulvenwald Hydra, then my other opponent played a mana rock, my top library had a Vorinclex.

I managed to quickly beat down 1 of my opponents, and my other 2 opponents just scooped.

    Any thoughts on thrashing brontodon?

He is bit too slow I think, Ingot Chewer and Beast Within are better.

Only thing he is better than Beast Within is he won't give your opponent a 3/3 beast, and that 3/3 beast can give your opponent a fast clock to beat you down.

Like when you have that card on the battlefield and you expect to kill your opponent Rest in Peace in the next turn but you have 0 mana left, your opponent use a removal on that card, then you are doomed.
