The commentary about Tithe Taker just mentions that they considered whether it should be a Human because of Modern. However, there is a direct statement in the commentary about Electrodominance:
"...Can Modern handle that pressure? Most likely. Are you certain? We tested it in Modern, and it should be fun and powerful but not oppressive..."
This time the full spoiler will be released on a Wednesday because the Pro Tour Team Series Finals will take place on Sunday, September 23 at the World Championship and will feature Guilds of Ravnica Team Sealed:
My hypothesis is that this card's name was inspired by name here!...
By the way, Bori Andon, Izzet blastseeker has already been mentioned on Essence Backlash and Pursuit of Flight from Return to Ravnica and on Mindstatic from Dragon's Maze.
Just to mention that there won't be any breakdown for Day 2 because it would be absolutely the same as the breakdown for Day 1. For this particular event, no teams were eliminated at the end of Day 1. Everyone continues to participate in Day 2.
Just to mention that Sam Stoddard hasn't left Wizards of the Coast. He stopped writing the "Latest Developments" column because it was replaced with the "Play Design" column and he's not a part of the Play Design team. He must be a part of the Set Design team now.
Sallucianious, the appearance of Emrakul on Innistrad wasn't a last minute change - it was decided from the very first time they started discussing a return to Innistrad:
As I said in another thread, I think the idea with Blessed Reincarnation is to use it against an opponent who has only one or two creatures in their (control?) deck. First you exile their first creature, then on your next upkeep you exile their second creature... and they're left with no creatures in their library!

Actually, Fall of the Gavel from Return to Ravnica also required a single blue mana. Although, when asked about that on Tumblr, Mark Rosewater said it was an exception.
Actually, at times there are problems with Mark Rosewater's Tumblr and he answers to a question but the answer appears under another question. This was one such case.
