Quote from FourDogsInAHorseSuit »Do you agree/disagree that resolved Twists X=4 on turns 1/2 is good for the format? X = 3?Quote from drmarkb »Leyline of Sanctity is in the format, it is practically maindeckable in one of my LGS metas (Bg-X, RB reanimator, Storm and Burn infested).
I doubt mid twist would do much. By the time the MUD deck sets it up t2 it could easily have lost the twist to discard, or could be facing a live Show and Tell, enormous eanimated fattie or even have been Stormed to death once in a while. Hell even a D N T deck on the play may have plopped down a Revoker. Mindtwisting to the max t2 leaves room for Daze too. I may be wrong, but I suspect it would not have a huge impact. Great card, yeah, but probably not much more than many great cards in the format.
I think a resolved twist on t2 for X = 4 is not worse than a resolved Tendrils for storm count x=10 or an Emrakul, both of which happen regularly in the format. I also think resolving a mind twist for x=4 might be difficult in a format with Daze/Spell pierce. Also mindtwisting some decks for 4- 5 cards- e.g. manaless dredge or reanimator still leaves the window open for rudeness at your expense for obvious reasons.

As highlights, the aggro dude plan is good. The long game was solid and sometimes I just ended up with fast dreadnought or painter lines. The aggro plan was always pressuring with those lines which felt powerful. Painter shenanigans were great. Hex parasite and saga was silly. This deck is a player

So as a quick gloss over, it’s meant to be an aggro deck with 2 “grow creatures”. And since we can aim deck some generic hate we get some quick lines to dreadnought which is really still the same attack plan. That’s where the beauty of the painter plan shines. It’s a way to win without the combat step then can happen equally fast out of the blue. March works extra nice with painter and gives a strong main deck answer to a lot. Also have access to a saga package to help give some options game 1. Sideboard is still up in the air. I did want to be cute with reverent mantra, and will probably have Hanna’s custody in some number.
For something that stemmed from my desire to revisit the mighty quinn I am quite happy with how this turned out. There are even some cute plays with karakas and hope. Feels powerful in gold fishing and I’m aiming to take this to our next legacy event. Will update around that event. Enjoy!

considering my rough start I still went 2-1-1 although it felt like 2-2. Left with the confirmation that parfait is probably the best underplayed deck in the format as the format changes but my deck doesn’t need too. I will say I may finally come around to the karn plan, at worse it was a hate piece I wanted. Second note was that the no stick plan felt viable just as the cantrip on abeyance was great (also help in avoiding chalice). Biggest minus was mana flood is brutal just as much as the top end flood was brutal which is also where my karn thoughts are coming from.
Bottom line parfait is best. Play parfait

An emrakul is another good win con for enchantress. We can make a lot of mana and it gives us a "removal spell." Plus karakas is decent to play and can give infinite turns.

2 blasts has again seemed correct for my lists life time. Red is a splash so I don't want to need it. The deck can reliably get the colours it needs, but I would rather have access to white as a priority. With most decks even splashing for blue though you should play at least 2.
Keg vs bomb really comes down to man lands. If you need to hit them keg, if not bomb.
