I think you have a very different concept of "what chronicles did" and "reprinting to hell" is.

We want diversity, lets ban cards that allow that

I don't think it hits enough stuff. I feel like I would use powder keg or something similar.

Depending on his build you may also be able to beat him with Orim's chant. Access to enlightened tutor also can open up sideboard options for your meta.

If that happens wizards is going under. People play eternal formats because they don't rotate and are simply better experiences. Forcing people to play into wizards cash cow of standard would be proof that they have lost faith in their own product. They handle standard poorly enough, ruining superior formats is not something I want to see.

People will play the best cards they can that are available to them. That's not format warping, that's simply being as efficient as you can be. If you ban the boogeyman a new boogeyman shows up. No one wants to play an inferior card if they can avoid it.

There is no need for bans, but there is a lot of space for unbans.

I never ran moat. We aren't exactly a fast deck so fast answers are needed. Elephant grass does the job well enough and potentially helps you get to solitary confinement or something similar. Even in my parfait deck humility is a stronger card, but it shuts down half of the enchantress engine so I don't think it's worth it.

If you're simply playing in a small group then just proxy cards. If a larger scene begins to grow then you can start your investing and have a tournament scene.

There is a reason to run 4, so you don't have to pay upkeep.

Dredge is very resource light so elephant grass can keep them at bay while you slowly get a mana advantage and the engine online.

Did you not play elephant grass against dredge?

An emrakul is another good win con for enchantress. We can make a lot of mana and it gives us a "removal spell." Plus karakas is decent to play and can give infinite turns.

Honestly I'd say just start by shifting your deaths shadow to legacy. It will help give you a feel for the format and won't hurt your budget. Upgrade where you can naturally.

That sounds like generic whining to me about non problematic cards. I'll continue to say the bigger issue is the player base. Parfait for example could be a tier 1 deck, but with probably 5 people playing it globally it will never get the attention that something like delver in general sees. For the most part the player base sees the performance of a given deck and opts to play it rather then try something different. I've posted a lot of decks here that I have proven to locals as contenders, but that's where it ends. They can see that it did well but it doesn't show up on mtg top 8's so it's not a deck. If the player base would choose "fringe decks" over existing decks you would see a lot of change in card variety immediately and the currently perceived problems would vanish.

I've played it for years. It's not as weak to disruption as you think. It's only susceptible to artifact disruption if you play a helm and don't use it right away. 50% is not that ambitious. The tools are there but shot happens. Sometimes you lose to nut draws or don't see the right stuff. There is a random factor to the game after all.

The cool factor is when you helm game 1 and then creature beat down or belcher game 2.

Well I think I have the deck for you. Parfait. It's possible to pimp it. Rip/helm gives you a combo win as does charbelcher. It's very skill intensive especially due to the toolbox nature attached to 4 enlightened tutors that I champion. It's easy to port to vintage as you really just need SoLoMox to do it. It isn't blue, but you'll draw more cards then blue can.

So yeah. Parfait should check all your boxes.
