Tropical Macaw is better off just being GWU and Herdsman RGW. By the way, why does Macaw make black mana?

Hmm, maybe the cards would have to be something along the lines of "If X was spent to pay CARDNAME, Y." I see what you guys are saying about the Hybrid cards needing to fit into both colors and a triple hybrid would have to do the same. A mana accelerator would look weird being able to fit it into a blue-white deck. But Wizards I'm sure has found a way to make this work.
Here's a few new mechanics I'd like to try out. Sorry if anyone has already thought of these.
First mechanic: Vengence.
Vengence (If you are dealt damage, X happens)
Vengence abilites don't do any one thing in particular, they are more like Hellbent or Threshold that trigger when a certain condition is met. Except these are triggered abilities rather than Continuous ones.
Example:
Silverblade Recruit

Human Soldier
Vengence- Whenever you are dealt damage, you may search your library for a Soldier card with converted mana cost equal to or less than the damage you were dealt and put it into your hand.

Slice of Justice
Instant
Vengence- Slice of Justice deals damage to target creature equal to the damage you were dealt by that creatue this turn.
Next abiliity: Aurora
Aurora (This creature/Spell becomes is the color or colors of the mana used to pay for it)
example:
Rainbow Blast
Instant
-Aurora.
-Rainbow Blast deals 2 damage to target creature or player for each color it is.
Form of the Merfolk

- Enchant yourself
- When Form of the Merfolk comes into play, and at the end of each turn, your life total becomes 2.

Form of the Sliver

- You can't play non-Sliver spells.

-When Blazing Herdsman comes into play, other creatures you control get +1/+1 and gain first strike until end of turn.
