Out of these 4, I would keep Pestermite. It can slow down your opponent by tapping down a color in their upkeep, it has evasion and 2 power, it is still a combo piece. It is a very flexible card and not bad outside of combo or tempo shells.
Hello!
What happens if I have a token copy of Cavalier of Gales (for example created by Rite of Replication) which is then destroyed (for example by Doom Blade). Do I get the "scry 2" die trigger when the token dies?
Thank you for your help!
White has Oblation, if you want to count that. And Decree of Justice draws a card if you cycle it for some tokens. But in the end, there is nothing on the noncreature front.
Therefore I would hope for something like...
a) 1W, Sorcery, Draw two cards, then exile a card from your hand unless you have gained life this turn.
b) 1WW, Sorcery, Scry 3, then reveal the top card of your library and put that card into your hand. If the revealed card is a land, gain 3 life.
c) 3WW, Instant, Exile the top four cards of your library. You may play cards exiled with ~ for as long as you control a creature with power 2 or less.
d) 4WW, Enchantment, Exile target creature you control: Draw cards equal to it's toughness, then exile 3 cards from your hand.
With an empty board, she is unexciting. Crystal Shard can hit your opponents creatures, which is quite important. Soulherder is strong, especially in my multiplayer cube which is full of etb creatures. But I am not sure if I want to sacrifice a slot for such a narrow card like Thassa2.
There is a lot to like about this Giant. It kind of passes the Terminate test and grants you value. Only abilities and sweepers will not trigger it, leaving you without value. The 3 damage ability scales for multiplayer cubes and the red flavoured draw mode is quite good, too. It is "play" and not only "cast" and I like that it works even in the opponents turn until the end of your next turn. Just imagine playing Izzet and exiling a Force of Will to protect it in response to the removal
3/4 is a good ratio for such a value midrange card. I had Felhide Spiritbinder in my cube for years and learned that a 4 mana 3/4 with heavy utility can be relevant and worth the effort (removal, etc) supporting it. I dislike the double red cost and would have wished for haste or an etb trigger (at the cost of weaker triggers).
Still a neat design for grindy cubes like my multiplayer EDH cube. I would not touch it in a powered duel cube where stuff like Hellrider performs much more explosive.
So it has been quite a strong set for me. I especially like the 4 adventure creatures. I am thankfully supporting more obscure archtypes like spellslinger Kykar, Wind's Fury. It goes to the point that I think about returning Kess, Dissident Mage to the cube, because she can cast adventures from the yard (as far as I am informed).
I also like Fabled Passage and think it's an easy include. The Great Henge Is my favourite EDH specific card. In 1vs1 it's much more limited, but in EDH it does just everything you want (once it's on the battlefield): ramp, lifegain, carddraw and +1/+1 counters!
I am very sad that Cube Tutor is suffering the traffic attacks. The owner is my personal Magic hero!
CubeCobra is ok, but I miss some features of Cube Tutor and dislike the layout. It's nice that people have options to choose from, but I hope these traffic attacks in Cube Tutor are not a result of any grudge.
Does Adventure work with Rebound?
1) If I have Narset Transcendent and activate her -2 and then I cast Giant Killer for his Adventure "Chop Down", may I put it into exile as it resolves and cast it again in my next upkeep due to Rebound and may I then, after resolving another "Chop Down" successfully, put it into exile again and cast it as creature from there?
2) Same example, but when I cast the Rebounded Giant Killer in my upkeep, may I cast the creature part instead of the instant Adventure part? So do I get to choose what to cast in that Rebound cast?
pick 2
Plunge into Darkness
Night's Whisper
Demonic Tutor
thank you

I also like that they still test out design space for land fixing, like with Fabled Passage.
