Old people are subject to the same laws as the rest of us. The OP certainly could have handled this better, but that would make for a less interesting story. This is basically a tale of two grown men acting like children, which I do find somewhat amusing.
If I am following your line of logic, Sen, stepping over a rope gave this man a right to stalk Fox, and then stalking him made Fox responsible for the man's well-being WHILE he was stalking him? I don't see how Fox endangered this man's health. He could have stopped this creepy game any time he wanted to.
I like this guy. He's vicious in limited and I think playable in the right deck in constructed. To those who say his drawback negates his evasion, imagine the following board state: opponent has Silverblade Paladin paired with Wolfir Silverheart. You have DD and 4 spirit tokens. Wouldn't you be really glad for his flying in that scenario? Sure they can still "block" him by saccing one of their dudes, but that's clearly inferior to actually blocking with an 8/8 double striker.
Every other post or so. That's the current poster boy for this thread. It has a long lineage of cards before it that were the same. Hell, all the dual lands should be on this thread too...
I was going to mention duals too. I can remember opening one in a pack and being like, "Why the hell am I getting a land for my rare?" I then proceded to trade it for a cockatrice.:(
It depends on if he was responding to the spell or the ETB trigger. The best thing for him to do is to respond to the ETB trigger, at which point you've chosen the target and the ability would fizzle, removing nothing. But if he responded to the spell, you still can choose another target once it enters the battlefield.
I played this guy yesterday in a U/R controllish build and he was awesome. I cast him four times that I remember, twice snagging a spelltwine, then a fungal sprouting, and the last time getting a concession on the spot (along with an oh-so-classy "Nice sealed deck, bro" comment). There were several times I either discarded him or didn't cast him as soon as I could, then regretted it after getting blown out by a nasty instant or sorcery. He's definitely main-deckable, as long as you can handle a somewhat high risk, high reward card in your deck.
I just want to say that I'm proud to live in a country where women can dress provocatively. Every time I see some lovely cleavage or a little bit of butt crack I think "God bless America!" Let's not let the bad seeds in the male population ruin it for the rest of us. We need to evolve our thinking, not the other way around.
I recently read an article that suggested that empathy is one of humanity's greatest evolutionary traits. Basically, since we are social creatures, the ones that are able to relate to others the best and feel compassion for their fellow man are going to be the ones that thrive within society. If you allow K's behavior to take away your compassion for others, you are allowing him to take away one of your greatest potential assets. Why would you want to give that much power to someone just for acting like an ass?
Depends what they reveal. If the first card revealed is a land, it goes to their hand, then they reveal another card for the second trigger. If it's not a land, it goes back on top, then is revealed again for the second trigger.
I was going to mention duals too. I can remember opening one in a pack and being like, "Why the hell am I getting a land for my rare?" I then proceded to trade it for a cockatrice.:(
Dude, that's just wrong... If only there were an artifact called Urza's Roofie.
Not impossible, you'd just have to twiddle her a bit.
