Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #8I'm with Rezzahan and Hemlock. Rite can help break through when we need to.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on Escape from Lavinia/Knowledge PoolHonestly, since you're in blue the best option would probably just be counterspells. Once your Lavinia opponent gets to five or six mana make sure you always have mana up to counter the Knowledge Pool. That way you're not running a bunch of narrow cards that are potentially dead draws when you're not in this situation.Posted in: Magic General

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #1These are all in our colors, but meh... Summit Prowler or Bloodfire Expert seem best; I'll just go for the easier to cast option.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #5Our terrible luck with fixing continues. Three fixers, none of which fit in our deck. I'm still voting for Flooded Strand as an Island that provides an extra mana toward Dig/Cruise/Mandrills.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #6Well all these cards technically can be played in our deck, but none of them are very exciting. I guess I'll go for Briber's Purse; it's the only card that provides something we don't already have.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #7Pretty wild that three out of four of these cards are solid playables in our deck! Defiant Strike and Set Adrift fit our plan A better, but given how many duplicate effects we have for those I'm going to give them a pass. Kill Shot will be a nice option to have for decks that are trying to race us, even if it starts in the sideboard.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #8We're a little light on removal so picking up a Throttle this late is pretty nice.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #8Timely Hordemate is overrated in general, and is particularly blah in this deck. It will frequently be worse than Krumar. Defiant Strike is not at its best in this deck either given our lack of prowess, but it lets us trade up with no loss of card advantage.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)

Funkenstein3D posted a message on CD3: Player #2I don't see the point in hating Weaponmaster or Warden. The Jeskai player is getting hooked up no matter what. Taking Jeskai Student gives our Abzan or Mardu neighbors less options for filling out their curve.Posted in: Limited (Sealed, Draft)
