Hope everyone had a great holiday Mine was interesting to say the least. Christmas Eve was awesome. had LOTS of family here, including the godfather to my munchkins. I made lots and lots of food and we played games. Christmas morning presents were awesome. I got a ring, books, and a movie. All was good till I had to make a trip to the ER...stupid potassium. All is ok though and I got home in time to make Christmas dinner
Hey guys.. I've got some bad news. Looks like I'm in debt. I only had, say, a dollar in my bank account. My web site provider tried to take out $3.99 to pay for a recurring monthly fee. They tried to do it via Paypal and it didn't go through. Well, it did go through and I was slapped with a nasty overdraft fee. Now I need to come up with $30 fast. If ANYONE here is willing to help me out I'm willing to sell some cards to recompense. I don't have a job and finding one is difficult.
I'm posting this request here and on Planar Chaos--I don't know what else to do besides keep looking for a job.

O yes, Iroh is a cool guy. Sokka wins for me because he is a goofy weirdo but has an amazing heart. I have a soft spot for goofy weirdos. Alacar likes to laugh at me when I watch the show cause I am way too into it.

Me... I'm returning home for the first time in one and a half years. I'm not quite sure how to feel about it... excitement at being home, amazement at the fact that I haven't seen my family in 18 months, curiosity about what will be different, sadness at leaving behind everything I've come to love during my time here (despite the fact that I'm coming back in a month)....I should be getting home one day before my birthday on the second.
I'll write up something later.
Can i go back with you in a month?! LOL JK. No really...I am a good traveling companion. Alacar won't mind...haha. And it's your birthday soon?! Yay!

Wow.. I just saw it. I am so excited now. I told Alacar that he HAS to go see the movie with me. He was supposed to see Transformers with me but...he is going with his mom and dad and leaving me to myself. That is fine. I will eat popcorn and mock him with it. HA... (congrats on the two pulls, btw.) but I think it's safe for me to say that for some reason GF's of Magic players have an absolutely uncanny ability to pull good cards from packs. This has happened since I've was playing back in the day. Methinks its the feel-good aura. Also, I don't want this to be condescending, but I think I'll say it anyway... Thanks for being Alacar's (nurse? - the right term is slipping me) for what time you can while this goes on...

In other news I pulled two foiled rares today. One is another Nicol Bolas...it is mocking me. The other was a Conflux. Woot for gifts mailed to me by my x-girlfriend :). She works at a store and the packages were damaged so they let her have them WOOT WOOT.
Hiyas everyone. Alacar just texted me to let me know he made it through the surgery and everything is good. He is on his way home to let his controlling mother take care of him. How is everyone else this morning?
-is still healing bad she bummed him out- Hey I am still hoping my book makes it big so he can be a stay at home assistant. AKA...he plays WoW with me and makes sure I actually work on the second book. LOL. Loves you Alacar, you will find a job soon, I knows it.
In other news, this Friday, Alacar and I are planning on going MTG geek shopping. We need more people to play the game with. He is using me as bait ROFL.
Alacar really takes things to heart. He beats himself up when he does something wrong. The situation was small but my reaction was probably blown out of proportion. I was playing the way he taught me, but taking too long so he mocked me. If it was just me and him I would have smacked his shoulder and got over it. He however, mocked me rudely in front of my sister. This triggered me to feel dumb and just fold the game and stop talking.
This reaction was not all his fault. The one before him had a tendancy to make me feel stupid around others. So, don't worry people we are fine.
And FYI i love "the last unicorn" and "whisper of the hear" !!
Heyas Coffeehouse! Alacar and I have been playing magic lots lately. I have found out I LOVE elves deck. They are sneaky little buggies. I gained like 40 life before smashing his face in. I however got my butt handed to me with his plainswalkers deck. So why did I buy him another card for the deck? hehe o well, I gues I don't learn. I am in the process of making my own red/black deck...all by myselfs hehe. Well my munchkin tells me its time for dinner so off I go -hugs to all-
What a random and interesting thing to go over here...lol. I am an a crazy hygiene freak. I have to brush after drinking anything or drinking sugary things. Mouthwash and floss needed too. Reading this makes me want to go brush me teeth right now.
