Pendrell Mists is up, and I remember you (Galspanic) putting this on the list of reserved list cards to watch for a long time ago. That post seems to be deleted as I tried to search for it a month or so back. Considering that this does the same thing one of the most expensive cards in the game does (Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale), it's no surprise it's getting attention now. It's in blue, good in edh, can be played in a blue/white version of stax, is on the reserved list as a great target- all reasons it's going up... It has been slowly drying up in the last few months.

I don't think it's hype. I think this is cheap at $15. Maybe this is high for now, but as time passes.. This card can potentially go in almost any deck- just use painlands and grove/filters. Not hard, but may be difficult considering that three colored decks and fetches rule modern for the most part. This is some kind of "we can make this card because of how cornered the meta is with land inclusion". In the end I think Though-Knot will win and become a staple. It's a Vendilion/thoughtseize/su-chi style card that can go in "any" deck. We'll see...

I don't think so. With the new eldrazi coming out in Oath, I expect it's usefulness and popularity to go up even more. The price jump was defintely a high one and noteworthy; and some may argue that this kind of jump will lead to it stabilizing at a lower price. But, with a plethora of copies still online, the asking price is pretty set considering that there is no buyout or shortage- it's worth what people will pay for it. The deck seems to be doing very well and it's definitely a new archetype to work with in Modern.

Also, I presume the Worldwake Mythic Rare version is rarer than the Modern Masters 2015 version. I'm not sure how much of each version are printed. I could be wrong though, but does anyone have any idea?

You have a nice store, I don't have anything like that out here. But what can you expect from this city really. I think it's fine waiting. I believe there will be an event where they get dumped off due to a market change; not necessarily devaluing them, but creating an overstock and thus discounts. I think they are at a big high still. I don't see them making any new gains anytime soon. They already are overpriced in my opinion- the blue ones, and bayou.. The secret is in Unlimited.

It could hit $15-$20 and I will wait till that point because I don't care about the card, but $30 is a fair price. The fact that it's Jace makes it harder to predict. With a lot printed maybe people will look past it and it will drop to around $20. If it doesn't get reprinted I would guess that it would hang around $50-$65 after it solidifies itself as power. It started out around $13 at it's lowest I believe, but now that it is getting play I can't imagine it getting that low again.

Why buy one Underground Sea when you can buy four Wasteland?- Legacy B) Why buy one Underground sea when you can buy four Cryptic Command?- Modern Etc.(Rough estimates)

As far as Legacy goes. I am not interested in the format and have met relatively few people that care about it, honestly. Seas were at $100, they were gobbled up, but at $175 it's just tainted sickness. I would rather buy unlimited. There are so many online that the stores can't get rid of. I expect them to fall through the cracks at cheaper prices here and there.

If he hits $30, probably a good idea to pick them up. He probably won't be printed anytime soon since he is a creature and follows the Origin's theme. He gets played in standard, modern, vintage, singelton. Just a really good card. It will prob end up like $50 or like Jace the mind sculptor after some time going back up. I don't see it staying around $30 after a year or less it rotates out. I would trade them all day now and buy them after rotation if you really care about this card.

Hey, wondering what you guys price a white bordered German Serendib Efreet at. I was guessing around $5, but with the original going up recently, I was wondering if this has gone up too. I know it's probably the same, just checking.

I've searched online and haven't found any magic deals yet. Anyone know if any online stores are doing Black Friday sales this year? Have any stores participated in Black Friday deals in the past? I'm looking to buy singles. Thnx!

Hi, has anyone on here ever sent an e-mail to an online mtg store making an offer on a bulk (not bulk bin rare, but a rare bought in bulk) rare and ended up doing some kind of deal with them? For instance: asking a store to give you a percentage off for let's say- 10 antiquities milltones? Thanks ahead of the time for any replies.

Will probably go down a little more. But in the long run I see them creeping up..

I would keep it, I wouldn't get rid of an alpha rare like that. Unless I was trading up.
