Love it. There are so many powerful cards that you want disenchant effects for and when I main deck this card, I feel more prepared. I've found it to be a great top deck in a lot of match-ups too.

    T2 is so much fun

That's what I like about it. Having Smash to Smithereens or Disenchat in the cube doesn't feel completely right in a non-powered environment, but being able to maindeck the that effect, playing it preemptively or simply carrying equipment with it is a huge bonus.

PS: the best movie is obv Twins

The expertise needs a target (creature) to be cast. This doesn't, and lets you cast anything. On the other side, Expertise cast your LE right now, and As Foretold takes 1 turn.

    I wouldn't play either, though.

Yeah, replacing Architecs of Will is something I'm definetely hoping to do with this block... It doesn't work so well with Ingot Chewer, and it's only 3/3. Something with cycling R would be nice

My cards are worthless after every rotation :p

So, supply of cards will cease? That means the card price will rise. Imagine 10 years after Magic is gone, how much a Modern Masters 2017 booster will cost? People are selling old candy wraping in ebay, at least you can play with these cardboards.

Besides, if WotC falls other people will be hosting tournaments, for sure... Look at how EDH was regulated with its own banlist and rules.

I wouldn't run that cycling dual in Hatebears before Horizon Canopy or Brushland

My opponent controls Winding Constrictor and cast Walking Ballista. With Ballista still on the stack, I kill the snake. As far as I know, it will enter the battlefield with X counters, but a player pointed out that in Magic Online the Ballista gets the bonus even if I kill the snake (and he was extremely sure). I asked 3 different judges and they all told me it gets X, not X+1 counters.

I'm interested in another judge opinion, but I'm more interested in MOL players experience with that interaction, because I don't play online.

    Thanks

I really wish there would be a way to cast the new Nicol without playing all three colors. Tri-colored cards are too narrow if they are meant to be hardcast.

    Oath of Nissa? :p

This is actually my only tricolored card that needs all 3 colors to be good.

Wait, how is that? You can just use the gain 4 life option on its own versus burn

Agree. gaining 4 is worth at least 1 of their cards, and being Snapcasterable is nice too if you get to play your 4th land. Also, Blessed Alliance is good against the almost extinct Infect and Bogles.

I´m Struggling against instant speed grave hate (Rakdos/Jund Charm). How can I beat them? Attacking their mana base?
It´s Very Hard, because we can´t use discard spells (thoughtseize, Duress).

I think you fight instant speed grave hate the same way you fight all graveyard hate: (1) sandbag cyclers if you suspect they have hate or (2) make them use their hate prematurely. Living End is great at fighting through hate, you just have to be a little cautious about what you bin and when.

Agree, and also you shouldn't overextend. Think the GY like a Wrath of God against aggro. Play around it.

    Smoke? :p

Beast Within helps against permanent GY hate, but vs most of those decks you could just play Blood Moon and beat with large dudes.

You can't be reactive against a field as diverse as Modern without an universal answer vs the other decks (call it like you want... the Modern FoW, Counterspell reprint, etc).

Also, being reactive means you can die in the time between the turn you 'control' the game and the turn you actually kill your opponent. Even in those 2-3 turns you need to ultimate Nahiri, or cast that Gifts Ungiven.

One thing it losses vs the T2 version is Sylvan Caryatid Frown Against Atarka, Arashin Cleric comes in turn 2, nets you some life and usually trades with the same burn spells that kill TiTi, and can kill tokens when blocking.

The UG manland seems to be cool with Ascendancy (I only played the combo in Theros-Khans), is it?

Also, there's a version with Cryptolith Rite+Tokens. Not that all-in, but I think it's more resilent to removal like Fatal Push

Condescend is not the same as Spell Snare. SS lets you counter their 2 drop on the draw (Tarmogoyf, Arcbound Ravager, Dark Confidant, Cranial Plating, Eidolon, etc). Condescend is more like a Mana Leak that doesn't lose (that much) value as game goes on.
