What cards do people board out in the mirror? I've heard people bringing in Shushers, Mind Shatters, Ajani, BB, etc. Is *** and Pyroclasm/Volcanic Fallout the things to take out first?

what reasons are people playing condemn or terror over path to exile ? Giving them a land doesn't effect the game as much as some people think.
let's discuss it.
positives:
instant speed
1 mana
creature doesn't have to be attacking
removes from game
wrecks mistbind, demigod, colossus, revillark, any other random problems.
land comes into play tapped and has to be basic.
negatives:
gives them a land
costs $17.50 for a foil
plays:
Round 1 VS Kithkin Aggro (2-1)
Round 2 VS Assassins Mono B (2-0)
Round 3 Vs Doran (2-0)
Round 4 Vs BG ELFS (2-1)
I'm not very good writing, but I will try later
I'm thinking about putting Plumeveil instead of Rhox War Monk, my meta is: DDW, Kithkin, BG Elfs, Jund Tokens, Doran, Lark, Mono B Assasins, Quillspike, Naya Aggro, UG Mimic, BW Aggro.
any comments?, I think I need help with my SB, I was thinking about putting Banefire, and remove the BB, but I would be some empty slots.
So no control decks besides Lark? No Faeries? Then you can go for Remove Soul instead of Broken Ambitions, they can play around it. Replacing Rhox War Monk with Plumeveils would be a nice idea.
I don't like Path to Exile in 5cc, I'm running Condemn in that spot (it can even be Terror ). Regardless, if you feel more confidant with Path then go for it.
Also, cut a painland and add one Island vs Path to Exile shenanigans.
Maybe some Runed Halo on the board instead of Bitterblossom?
Hope it helps
EDIT: if you can make room for something, it should be the 4th Esper Charm.
I don't know if it has been discussed before, but does anyone has tested Chandra Nalaar? It can't be Putrefyed or Path to Exiled... It isn't so "all-in" but it's hard to deal with.
BB is not a finisher. BB deals with the early game. And I side 1 wrath 1 drifter and 1 capsule which was firespout.
I'm confused. Are we talking about the Kithkin mu, right? Assuming that 5cc won the first game (again, it's an easy mu), the Kithkin player would go first. In that situation, BB comes into play on turn 2 getting you a token that can block their 4th turn attack. Personally, I don't find that attractive at all. But if it works for you, then go for it :D. I just like to attack their gameplan from other angles.
It works I deal with aggro on friday nights so I don't bring them in unless it's kithkin because I can beat them with flyers. Everything else gets dealt with other things in the board.
And what do you side out when you bring Bitterblossom? Do you really need another finisher? The Kithkin mu pretty easy, I usually add the 4th Wrath of God and the 4th Condemn and thats it...
My Meta:
Full of Aggro, especially Kithkin Decks, a few B/G Elves and DDW. 2 or 3 Fae and 5cc Players and Some Naya Decks around.
1. I moved the single PW to SB 'cause all the aggro in the meta.
2. I don't think VF would be necessary in MD for 2 Fae Players around the meta.
3. Still keepin Condemns over PtE, but not so sure about it. Too many aggro players around, thoughts? Maybe in SB?
4. Just 2 Plumveil MD because of all the cheap RMG spells post conflux. Instead i added one more Pyroclasm, but i'm thinking in putting a Jund Charm instead because of the instant speed.
5. 25 Lands, not 26. Is this Ok?
Opinions apreciated!
To smcke0wn: I'm Convinced that Plumveil works better than RWM, so i don't think BB in SB would work without them.
I must have missed something here. I've looked back through this but can't find how this sculler trick is actually working. Sculler reads 'When Tidehollow Sculler leaves play, return the removed card to its owner's hand.' So with this wording, if sculler is RFG it has left play and they get the card back. What am I missing? (also new to playing lark so i'm not surprised if i've just never heard of this)
The trick is to play unsummon with the CiP ability on the stack, so the leaves-play ability will trigger and resolve before than the CiP (returning nothing, because nothing has been removed yet). Then, the CiP resolves and you get to castigate your opp.
I think that neither Child of Alara or Maelstrom Archangel has a place in 5cc as long we have Cloudthresher and Broodmate Dragon. If you manage to untap with an archangel in play (turn 6?), attack with it and sneak in the ultimatum you are probably winning anyway.
THEY DO NOT PRINT TEXTLESS PERMANENTS. Good lord folks. Everyone is going off on permanents, and they haven't printed them in the past. Like. Ever. And probably won't change that.
That's right, they haven't printed them... yet.
I was hoping for some red or green textless foils, Birds of Paradise will be nice
I remember the last mirror match I've played side in Bitterblossom and Vexing Shusher and he brought Chameleon Colossus
You can bring in Ajani, Runed Halo, Flashfreeze, Resounding Thunder, Vendillion Clique, Negate... I usually take out Wraths and Plumeveils, maybe some Condemn (still have Bant Charm for Cloudthresher). If you know that your opponent isn't boarding Shusher, take out the Pyroclasm/Jund Charm/Volcanic Fallout too.
I personally prefer Thunder over Banefire because it cantrips and it's instant. It can also hit a Planeswalker at EOT

I like Condemn as an early answer to Figure of Destiny, Stigma Lasher or Goldmeadow Stalwart... Obviously playing Path to Exile in the first turns of the game would give your opponent and edge. He can manage to resolve a threat even if you have countermagic, or simply playing dangerous cards like Cloudgoat Ranger, Demigod of Revenge or Reveillark .
They both cost W, so you can remove a creature and play something else. The advantage on Path to Exile is the ability to hit Mistbind Clique on your upkeep. Do we really need to do this? 5cc has plenty of cards to combat Clique: Remove Soul, Jund Charm (Volcanic Fallout?) if they don't have Bitterblossom, Esper Charm if they only have Bitterblossom, Plumeveil to block. I just don't think that Path is necessary. It's a personal preference:rolleyes:

If there is a lot of aggro in your meta, you can try less Broken Ambitions and more Remove Soul, or even a Remove Soul/Negate split.
About Condemn over Path to Exile, keep them. I don't see a reason for the replacement.
Btw, I would play 26 lands... maybe -1 Pyroclasm?

Correct me if I'm wrong.
