    Medomai the Ageless

On August 26, a new poster named Trollcreature claimed in the middle of a speculation thread:

    Quote from Trollcreature
Its a U/W Legend named Medomai, and his deals combat damage is a Time Walk at a price.

Two days later, the MTG article Planeswalker's Guide to Theros, Part 2's confirmation of the previously-unknown sphinx Medomai gave Trollcreature credibility.

    Quote from Trollcreature
and from the last I heard (months ago) Medomai is U/W and was 5cc

    Mod Edit 2:
    Medomai the Ageless 4UW
    Legendary Creature — Sphinx
    Flying
Whenever Medomai the Ageless deals combat damage to a player, take an extra turn after this one.
Medomai the Ageless can't attack during extra turns.
    4/3

Update: Turns out Medomai's P/T is slightly better than we had supposed! Smile It's a 4/4 rather than 3/4 or 4/3:

Trollcreature's other spoilers, with follow-up clarifications/confirmations by secret but reliable mod sources, are quite exciting:

Chained to the Rocks and Thoughtseize

    Quote from Trollcreature
Also a 1 mana white enchantment swords to plowshares, and thoughtseize is in this block.

    Quote from Trollcreature
I heard it was in the middle set of the block.

    Quote from Trollcreature
But to clarify the enchantment swords. it should read close to W enchantment. sac~ remove target non-enchantment creature from the game, its controller gains life = to power. May also just be creature and non-enchantment creature.

Mod Edit: Thoughtseize is definitely in Theros

    Quote from TK-421
    Thoughtseize is rare.

Update: Officially spoiled at the PAX party:

    Mod Edit:
    Chained to the Rocks W
    Enchantment — Aura
    Enchant _______ you control
When Chained to the Rocks enters the battlefield, exile target creature an opponent controls until Chained to the Rocks leaves the battlefield. (That creature returns under its owner's control.)

    Quote from viperesque

-Chained to the Rocks is definitely not "Enchant land you control", and is probably "Enchant Mountain you control".

    Quote from viperesque
Don't trust me 100% on this. It could be Island instead, or even something else. All I know is that it's very flavourful.

(Note: the reason why I say Mountain or Island is that there are a few different Greek legends where characters are chained up and left somewhere, and a few different versions of each of those. I don't know which is being referenced.)

Update: Missing word confirmed to be "Mountain" by the Oracle of Theros:

    Dual Lands Cycle

    Quote from Trollcreature
The dual cycle is the Nimbus Maze lands cycle.

    Quote from TK-421
And finally, my source says that it's more Horizon Canopy-esque lands than Nimbus Maze-esqe.
Not the exact Horizon Canopy and friends. They think Wizard said its going to be brand new lands instead of reprints

    Quote from TK-421
The new lands are a cycle total of 10, with 5 in Theros, and the other 5 between Born of the Gods and Journy Into Nyx. There is a very similar land with these in functionality: H____ D____
    ---------------------------------------
Halimar Depths is the only land I know of that is HD

Update: Officially confirmed as scry lands:

    Magma Jet

Mod Edit: Magma Jet is in, but not with the Leonin picture.

Update: From the official Taiwanese MTG Facebook page:

Update: And finally, in English, from the mothership:

Nicol Bolas: "Why is this my problem? It's what the que card guy wrote."

Since this is a thread about misspellings, after all: they're cue cards, not "que" cards. Teach
