What kind of bizarre thread is it where we are believing a brand spanking new account who says things that are in direct contrast with what TK-421 has been told by their sources.
I kind of trust TK-421 more than I trust a "Trollcreature"
It's like you can't even read the first post since you completely ignore the facts stated therein.
First of all, Trollcreature already established he had good info with Medomai.
Second, the information TK-421 was told SUPPORTED and added further credence to Trollcreature. TK-421's source confirmed a "conditional Time Walk" on Medomai. TK-421's source confirmed the "1 mana white enchantment swords to plowshares". TK-421's source even hinted the Thoughtseize was correct. Trollcreature never stated as fact that the green god was the 5/5 snake; he was pretty clearly guessing on that one and later verified that he was guessing on that one. TK-421's source did differ on the land cycle (based on Horizon Canopy rather than Nimbus Maze, and the confusion is easy to understand because both were from Future Sight), but altogether this just further shows that Trollcreature has inside info that was largely correct.
EDIT: Matt Tabak has clarified that if cast via bestow and the target is removed, Celestial Archon will enter the battlefield as a creature.
Okay, so if the target is removed, the bestow card on the stack won't "fizzle."
But this still leaves open the question of the creature getting killed which a bestow card (already on the battlefield) is enchanting. Does the bestow card then get put into the graveyard because it's an aura, or does it stay in play as a creature? Can someone who can contact Matt Tabak ask him that so we can get an official answer?
are the guys voting for "carpe noctem" hoping to see the card in theros? it won't happen
Yep, and even if logistics/scheduling permitted it (and logistics/scheduling does not), doesn't make much sense to put a Latin name in a Greek set. (Yes, I know the cultures are intertwined, but there's no Roman Empire in Theros, and while Theros has some real-world Roman influences, it is clearly predominantly Greek. Maybe someday we can use Carpe Noctem in some future Roman set, whenever that may be. :D)
Wait, what? Hold on. This isn't right. The previous vote was as follows:
Skullduggery vs. Spoils of Misery
Carpe Noctem vs. Waste Not
Drudge Rummage vs. Riches from Rags
Necroharvest vs. Vile Plunder
But that's not what the result boxes indicate. Just look, somehow both Necroharvest and Vile Plunder are in the top 4 even though one of those options should've been voted out. In fact, the same goes for Carpe Noctem vs. Waste Not. What's going on here?
This looks REALLY BAD. It's probably not intentional, but it makes WotC look really bad and lends fuel to those who claim that the votes are being rigged by WotC. At worst, WotC is rigging the votes; at best, they incompetently screwed up the vote.
Its a U/W Legend named Medomai, and his deals combat damage is a Time Walk at a price.
Two days later, the MTG article Planeswalker's Guide to Theros, Part 2's confirmation of the previously-unknown sphinx Medomai gave Trollcreature credibility.
and from the last I heard (months ago) Medomai is U/W and was 5cc
Mod Edit 2: Medomai the Ageless 4UW
Legendary Creature — Sphinx
Flying
Whenever Medomai the Ageless deals combat damage to a player, take an extra turn after this one.
Medomai the Ageless can't attack during extra turns.
4/3
Update: Turns out Medomai's P/T is slightly better than we had supposed! It's a 4/4 rather than 3/4 or 4/3:
Trollcreature's other spoilers, with follow-up clarifications/confirmations by secret but reliable mod sources, are quite exciting:
But to clarify the enchantment swords. it should read close to W enchantment. sac~ remove target non-enchantment creature from the game, its controller gains life = to power. May also just be creature and non-enchantment creature.
Mod Edit: Chained to the Rocks W
Enchantment — Aura
Enchant _______ you control
When Chained to the Rocks enters the battlefield, exile target creature an opponent controls until Chained to the Rocks leaves the battlefield. (That creature returns under its owner's control.)
Don't trust me 100% on this. It could be Island instead, or even something else. All I know is that it's very flavourful.
(Note: the reason why I say Mountain or Island is that there are a few different Greek legends where characters are chained up and left somewhere, and a few different versions of each of those. I don't know which is being referenced.)
And finally, my source says that it's more Horizon Canopy-esque lands than Nimbus Maze-esqe.
Not the exact Horizon Canopy and friends. They think Wizard said its going to be brand new lands instead of reprints

They only update weekly or faster on vote steps, not on submission steps, which take a lot longer because they have to wade through all the submissions.
Naw, the person doing the mockup was just guessing. P/T is still unknown; all available info is in the first post.
Thanks for the new details!
But a question: Halimar Depths isn't even a dual.
TK-421, is it possible that that is a typo, and rather than
H____ D____
the source meant to write
H____ C____
for Horizon Canopy? Or was the earlier info on Horizon Canopy just incorrect?

Not so far, no.
No, he's just correcting Meowmeowzor's misconception that Nimbus Maze was part of a full cycle in Future Sight.
Holy crap, you're right! The issue is being discussed over on the official website's thread for the article. See also http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=532928 which had the previous brackets, even though they've now been taken down from WotC's original article at http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/262.

The original poster of this thread, Levia Daedalus, thought it was real.
Or maybe he's the faker, since he won't tell us which Facebook page he got it from.
Doesn't work. Storm copies aren't cast.

Searching through Mark Rosewater's Tumblr, you are correct. My apologies for my mistake.
