yeah, totally. they are connected by a lot of things like... come on guys it's just a hole in the expansion symbol, it means nothing, stop being stupid
No, it's not just a hole. It's the same overall keyhole design, a U-shape with the same hole-narrowing-to-an-opening at top.
Because the three letter code is used for all Hasbro products. If a more obvious three letter code isn't being used, its because some previous product already used it.
No, codes of Hasbro's other products have no bearing on MTG set codes.
It might be because "BOG" has negative connotations in general and implies swamps (thus seeming to favor one color over the others), whereas "BNG" sounds like "Bang!" as in come in "with a bang" (something exciting).
"Lucy Ricardo you have some splainning to do!!!!" I am totally confused at this season schedule and need some one who is a rocket scientist to explain it to me. From what i see the Journey into nix season is starting right around Dec 2013 to March 2014. Does this mean that Journey into nix is coming out in Dec 2013? Season 2 has M2015 does this mean that somewhere in between the two dates m15 is coming out? And are the other two set huey dewey coming out at their dates too?
No. "Journey into Nyx season" means "the PTQ season for PT Journey into Nyx". Similarly, "M15 season" means "the PTQ season for PT M15". The PT happens after the end of the season. So the sets are coming out at their normal times.
As the popularity of Modern has continued to rise, Wizards of the Coast has made the decision to retire the Extended format. Too many formats can fracture a player base, so we’ve decided to focus efforts on our other Constructed formats.
Tournament organizers will be able to sanction Extended events up to August 7, 2013, but after that there will be no more sanctioning of events for Extended. Events sanctioned before August 7, 2013, will be able to be run until October 8, 2013.
Magic Online will be removing Extended as a supported format after their downtime on August 7, 2013.
Revenge of Necromancy is unplayable garbage destined for the kitchen table. How could anyone be moronic enough vote for it over Blood in the Watering Can.
Don't you realize you answered your own question right there about who voted for it? All the kitchen table players.
The legendary rules changes (from "none survive" to "one on each side survives") pretty much verify that Theros will have a legendary theme, yeah?
Especially when the last time the legend rule (from "first survives" to "none survive") was changed was right before Kamigawa, which ended up having a major legends theme.
Why is everybody arguing about which civilization's calendar is more accurate?
Because the claim that the Mayan calendar is more accurate is ridiculous. Modern atomic clocks maintain accuracy better than a billionth of a second every day, and they are synced based on very precise astronomical observations that even take into account extremely minuscule relativistic effects. To claim that the Mayan calendar was more accurate is preposterous. They had neither the equipment nor the theory to measure up to modern timekeeping.
Ancient civilizations knew to make adjustments for leap years. Modern timekeeping makes adjustments for leap seconds and is many orders of magnitude more precise than anything any pre-industrial civilization had.
Actually they did. Their calender was more accurate then ours today.
I don't know if the Mayans accounted for leap years or not.
But I do know that unless the Mayans miraculously invented atomic clocks and understood relativistic time effects centuries before anyone else, their calendar was not more accurate than ours today.
EVERYONE looks better than Kristen Stewart. I'm not saying she's ugly but she has a paralyzed gargoyle ***** face. Girls think she's pretty though so what seems like common sense to guys is a high complement to women.
Um, no.
I'm a straight guy, and I think Kristen Stewart is gorgeous and extremely beautiful.
Why, though? The example states that you know doomsday is inevitable.
Knowledge is so precious that there's almost no way you could relate to possessing it; but if it's real knowledge then it is certainty, a certainty that implies the statement is true, that the disaster is unavoidable.
It's not somebody else's statement that the disaster is unavoidable. It's knowledge that is afforded to you.
The original post doesn't state that doomsday is inevitable. It says that, without interference, doomsday will happen. Cassandra found a way to stave it off by a year, but she was unable to find a way to stave it off more permanently. Therein is her failure.

The symbols really are suggestively similar.

Oh, wow, that's brilliant! Really nice double reference! Of all suggestions I've heard so far, I hope this wins!

Cuz it hasn't been decided yet.

Guys, it's obviously got to be CST (UTC -6) or EST (UTC -5), since that's Mayan time.

You have computer-controlled toilets?!?! IMPOSSIBRU!
Um, no.

I think you actually meant to write:
