Theros has great limited design, and only costs me $10 to draft. I also get real cards that I can own and can't be taken away from me. And why would restricting where you can play it increase the value of it?
I guess the system wants me in gold...? I lost 25 LP last night in two games (one had an ashe on my team feed enemy vayne 6 kills in 12 minutes, the other had a literal run-down-the-lane-into-the-turret-and-die-over-and-over intentional feeder). Won one game tonight, +28. This took me from 52 LP to 80 LP in Silver I - right where things are supposed to slow down.
I literally just went through Silver I, as in, yesterday, and my LP gains started getting clamped a little bit at around 80 LP. I was getting ~25 up to 80, but I don't believe I ever got less than 13 points for a win. I jumped straight from 87 points to series.
Been trying out freeweek Syndra, but.. I'm doing terribly. I understand she's relatively tough to play, but.. Any pro tips? I've been going Tear -> DFG -> Archangel's -> Whatever I need at that point.. I just seem to be dying a ton.

The mirrodin pure talismans are $6 and they were 2-4 per store. We got several hundred plains. They will be worth nothing.

This being said, someone who wants to make an EDH deck with these plains (multiple people at my LGS alone) will need up to 30 or so each. MP Talismans were a niche collector thing that a lot of people probably don't even know about.

There seems to be two contradicting answers here. Or do you just mean I can only pre-sideboard before I sit down for my match? IE I know what my opponent is playing, I have to quickly run to the side and swap out cards before I sit down?
