Oracle of bones has potential I guess. It's pretty borderline. You really need a pretty sick card in your hand for it to be good on the front end. If you have one though it is pretty Bloodbraidish. On the tribute, he's a pretty good rate. This has the most potential of the tribute cards so far I would say. Possible exception for Fanatic of Xenagos.
This card asks for too much. To start it has the typical heroic pitfall of needing you to have additional spells to target it with, opening you up for 2 for 1's and card disadvantage. But then, on top of that, it's heroic ability doesn't even do anything unless you have additional mana to burn on it presenting an even bigger blow out opportunity if your opponent has removal.
For your troubles you get what? An Ivy Elemental which even without the downside of needing other cards to get online isn't a constructed all-star in any way.
No, I'm afraid this card doesn't impress me at all.
Green dude feels pretty bad. Not only do you have to use a spell and open yourself to the 2 for 1, but then you have to spend mana on top of that just to make his heroic do something? Sick tech.
*Sigh* Of course he mills. Had to be mill. I guess he is reasonably efficient at it at least? Bleh who am I kidding. It is an indestructible mill source so there's that. Kind of Nephalia Drownyardish, considerably worse of course but that was a fine card. Frostburn Weird is friends with Phenax.
Avenger of Zendikar + Regal Force for filling up the tank
Yeva, Nature's Herald + Seedborn Muse for when the tank is full and you need to run it all out
Avenger of Zendikar + Kamahl, Fist of Krosa for when a multiplayer game needs to end
Xenagos, God of Revels + Blightsteel Colossus for killing someone obnoxious or in 1v1
I'd highly recommend not playing Magus of the Tabernacle in mono-fair creatures.dec, that seems like a good way to lose games.
Except how is a random 5 power donk exciting in EDH. People will NEVER let you get the spell for free in EDH.
On a different note, I am pretty interested to see where the gold token comes from.

I see what you did there...
Very likely, still makes me sad though.
