Thanks for the reply, and the kind words! Sorry about the long delay, I just saw the comment now.
As far as artifacts and lands to avoid, there's not much. I mean, as long as you guys have fun with the cards and the cube is an enjoyable experience, you're doing it right. I would caution against overdoing lands that enter the battlefield tapped though, if you want aggressive decks to be playable in more than one color.
Cheers, and happy cubing!

Land is not included when determining your ACMC. But other cards, like Force of Will, might beb considered a 5 if you use their printed costs, but are actually a 0 in practice. Make sure you adjust your CMCs to what their expected costs are when calculating things. And all cards that are truly variable can get factored in as true X's, which neither help nor hurt your curve.

If unpowered, Caretaker > Seedshark > Duelist > Skydiver
But to be honest, I don't disagree with you. I don't like Comet either. Not because it's too good, but because I have no control over what it does. All its abilities are powerful, and collectively it's above rate, but the lack of control over what it does has led to a lot of disappointing performances. It's on the block for me for consistency issues, and I don't expect it to be in my cube forever.
Ya, this creature has been quite good.
Thanks for the kind words!
And ya, poor Geralf indeed. What a title.
Thanks!
I agree, there's a bunch of good stuff in this set for cube. Lots to explore!
Both solid cards, but outclassed by other options, IMO. Wouldn't fault anyone for playing either of them though.
Card doesn't appeal to me at all, but maybe that's just me.
Thank you!
Ya, this is a much better set, for sure.
I also like the incidental token support that's been introduced to the cube organically with recent sets. Pretty cool stuff.

Maybe. I'm not sure. Eruption is more powerful, but Warrens has that potential early play for like 6-8 goblins that can randomly win games, and plays better in Purphoros decks and stuff.
OTJ article is up!
