    Since you're already playing Brine Elemental you could play Vesuvan Shapeshifter, they combo well together and a reusable clone is always good.

    Curiosity, Ophidian Eye and Mind Over Matter combo perfectly with Niv-Mizzet, allowing you to draw your whole deck and kill the table.You can usualy kill 2 people with the card in your library and finishing of the third one with Conflagrate.

    Hinder is a must in every blue EDH deck.It stop Life from the loam shenanigan, counter Genesis and other incarnation without sending them to the graveyard and more importently get rid of an opponent general for good.

    Tunnel Vision allow you to instant-kill someone with Spin into the Myth and Hinder if you fell like it.

    High Market should be in every deck with less then 3 color.It doesn't hurt your mana base and give you a free sacrifice outlet.

    Keiga, the tide star and his little brother Ryusei, the falling star are just great, giving you some defence (or offense?).Also nobody usualy want to kill them ;).

    I could continue like that for days but i'll stop here for now ;).

    I dont realy like Urge to Feed.Sure you can tap your vampire to get some counter... but why aren't you attacking with them?

    I kinda fell bad about Anowon the Ruin Sage.He have to compete against Malakir Bloodwitch in the 5 drop spot and unfortunatly he doesn't pass the Lightning Bolt test.Matter of fact he doesn't pass any removal test at all.

    Seriously how much do you want us to play vampire?They are pushing vampire so hard that it's kinda sad... like cancel...

    I dont like reactive card a lot in this deck, I tend to tap out during my turn to play my dragon, draw card, abuse of Zirilian.Keeping 4 mana open all the time slow you down terribly.

    Unfortunatly as I say the deck is to play on mtgo and I dont have access to the Urza Block, so unfortunatly no sneak attack.

    I tried Through the breach but the card disadvantage produced doesn't worth it.You already struggle to get as much gaz as you can you dont need to 2-0 youself (or 2-1 if you play a dragon with removal ability)

    Aether Vial seem too random, I have a lot of different casting cost in the deck (from 4 to 9) and if at some point I'm ramping it to 6 counter, I might as well cast the dragon.

    Hey Mtgs!I just realised that you got an awesome EDH community and I wanted to share with you so here's a decklist that i'm currently working on, any help is appreciated ^^.


    Pretty straight foward isn't?Play some acceleration, play some dragon then RAWR!

    Some note before I start explaining card choice, strategy and blah blah blah:

    #1: This decklist was made to be playing on Mtgo, it mean that I dont have acces to Sol Ring, Wheel Of Fortune, High Market and the whole Urza's Block.

    #2: The list was made for multiplayer.

    #3: If something come to my mind this is where I will put it Grin


    1x Zirilian of the Claw : The general.He fetch dragon and at the same time allow you to shuffle your library which is useful with Sensei's divining top and Scroll Rack

    2x Crimson Hellkite : A dragon.Most of the time there will be something on the board that need to be killed, this is where Hellkite come handy.Out of Zirilian it's an overcosted blaze, out of your hand it's a treat that need to be dealt with.

    3x Dragon mage : Fetchable Wheel of Fortune on a stick.I wouldn't recommand to abuse of him, he give card to your opponent and because you're playing mono red the card that they will draw will most likely be better then your's.

    4x Bogardan Hellkite : It fly, It Burn,It's fast, It's perfect out of Zirilian, do he realy need an introduction?

    5x Dragon Tyrant : The main way you're going to kill people.Lot of the time someone need to be snipe'd out of the game. that's your job, sneak the big bastard into play with Zirilian and get him!

    6x Dragon Whelp/Furnance Whelp : Yea they are unimpressive but they doesn't cost a million unlike the rest of your deck.Can also be a treat in the late game thx to firebreating

    7x Fire Dragon : This guy is a beast.Like Bogardan Hellkite but can hit for more then 5.The downside is that he cost a million and can only hit creature but it's fine since you're playing Zirilian.

    8x Flameblast Dragon : It's a smaller Crimson Hellkite but smaller doesn't mean worst.

    9x Furnance Dragon : This is the big dude.Say goodbye to your Jitte/SoFi/Acceleration!Be wary he will also eat your own acceleration and doesn't activate his effect out of Zirilian.

    11x Hunted Dragon : Political tool you can say.Someone is getting swarmed?Give him some token and everybody will forget that you have a 6/6 flying haste.

    12x Kilnmouth Dragon : A beast like no other.Amplify him for 2 and he's the biggest Tim you'll ever see.

    13x Knollspine Dragon : I have yet to see this card do anything.In the 20ish game I played with the deck I never had to use him once but I still dream of the day that I will draw 20 card...

    14x Dragonspeaker Shaman : Because sometime, you draw your dragon...

    15x Rimescale Dragon : With the snow covered manabase, a total beast, it lockdown creature without killing them, so no recursion possible until he is dead!

    16x Hellkite Charger : Rorix little brother.Never had to use it which is sad, beating twice with an army of dragon seem sexy...

    17x Ryusei, the Falling Star : You're personal Plague Wind.If you want to use it out of Zirilian make sure you have an sac outlet otherwise the exile zone await him!

    18x Scourge of Kher Keep : Take that Utility creature!Sometime you need pyroclasm and during those time you like having him in your deck.

    19x Shivan Dragon : Introducing his majesty...

    20x Shivan Hellkite : Ping Ping Ping... Do I have to say more?

    21x Bloodshot Cyclops : Awesome sac outlet for big damage or spot removal.

    22x Two-Headed Dragon : Shivan Dragon retarded brother... you'll love him Smile

    23x Zodiac Dragon : Our Eternal Dragon, if you have a sac outlet you can freely bring him out with Zirilian... Oh and did I say that he was a 8/8 that doesn't want to die?

    24x Anger : Haste is awesome.

    25x Greater Gargadon : Sac outlet, great with Insurection

    26x Solemn Simulacrum : This deck love acceleration thus it love the sad robot.

    27x Crucible of Fire : What's better then big dragon?BiGGER DRAGON!

    28x Gratitious Violence : MORE DAMAGE RAWR!!!

    29x Rage Reflection : STRIKE THEM ONCE, STRIKE THEM TWICE!

    30x Goblin Bombardment : Sac outlet, nothing special to say...

    31x Savage Beating : One of my personal favorite.It make killing the table so much easier.

    32x Beacon of Destruction : Five damage is the magic number.Sure it can't kill those pesky Invasion/Planar Chaos dragon but your's are bigger anyways.

    33x Fiery Fall : A land in the early game and removal in the late, faaaantastic!

    34x Fling : HERE! CATCH A DRAGON!

    35x Grab the Reins : HERE! CATCH YOUR DRAGON!

    36x Skred : Because sometime something need to be killed for 1 mana.

    37x Urza's Rage : Because sometime, something need to be killed... for 12 mana...

    38x Fatal Frenzy : Because sometime, someONE need to be killed.

    39x Feldon's Cane : Reshuffle all your dragon into you're library for second use with Zirilian?Sure!

    40x Lightning Greaves : Haste is awesome, shroud is even better.

    41x Thousand-Year Elixir : 2 activation of Zirilian or Kilnmouth during the same turn?Hell yea!Otherwise weak spot, could be something better.

    42x Tel-Jilad Stylus : Hide that dragon on the bottom of your deck for later use!

    43x Ruby Medallion : Because sometime, you will draw your dragon...

    44x Scroll Rack : In a deck with no draw power Scroll Rack shine and with all the shuffle effect it's even better.

    45x Oblivion Stone : Red doesn't have a lot of way to deal with mass of painful thing, this on the otherhand do the job quite well.

    46x Mana Crypt : Mana mana mana manaaaaaaaa (aka old tv series batman theme.... oh shut up!)

    47x Gauntlet of Power : At his best in mono-colored deck, even better when half of your creature breath fire.

    48x Extraplanar Lens : At his best in mono-colored deck, even better when half of your creature breath fire. Also take note that you play SNOW-COVERED-Mountain, which mean that your opponent mountain wont give 2 mana.

    49x Sensei's Divining Top : EoT top?... Upkeep Top?... After draw Top?You got a lot of way to shuffle, use them!

    50x Helm of POssession : I can't stress enought how good is this card.Sac outlet?Check!Control magic?Check!Ass rape?Check!

    51x Nevinyrral's Disk : Red doesn't have a lot of way to deal with mass of painful thing, this on the otherhand do the job quite well.
    52x Gilded Lotus : Mana mana mana manaaaaaaaa (aka old tv series batman theme.... oh shut up!)

    53x Coalition Relic : Mana mana mana manaaaaaaaa (aka old tv series batman theme.... oh shut up!)

    54x Loxodon Warhammer : Warning, Hammer wielding dragon are dangerous.

    55x Coldsteel Heart : Mana mana mana manaaaaaaaa (aka old tv series batman theme.... oh shut up!) (Damn I love that Ctrl+C Ctrl+V)

    56x Darksteel Ingot : Mana mana mana manaaaaaaaa (aka old tv series batman theme.... oh shut up!

    57x Mind stone : Mana mana mana manaaaaaaaa (aka old tv series batman theme.... oh shut up!

    58x Illuminated Folio : It's a terrible card, but do you know a lot of card that allow you to draw a card per turn at the cost of 1 mana without giving one to your opponent?Me neither.

    59x Skullclamp : fan☺☺☺☺intastic!Draw 2 card each time you tutor a dragon if you have a sac outlet in play?Hell yea!

    60x Insurrection : I heard that this card can win game... not sure...

    61x Banefire : For the last... 20 point of damage you need to deal.

    62x Hall of the Bandit Lord : Cost a lot of life, which is bad but it give haste, which is fantastic.

    63x Thawing Glaciers : Let you hit your land drop every single turn.

    64x Madblind Mountain : Shuffling is good, even on a bad mountain

    65x Temple of the False God : The false god give a lot of mana so I worship the false god.

    66x Miren, The moaning Well : Step 1 Sacrifice a dragon. Step 2 Gain life... is that obvious enought?

    67x Diamond Valley : If I were you I would read the card just above.

    68x Scying Sheets : A must with a snow-covered land base.

    69x Ancient Tomb : It hurt but it give a lot of mana.

    70x Cristal Vein : Sometime if you're in a pinch for mana...

    30x Snow-Covered Mountain : Because you have no reason to not playing snowy mountain.

    How to play the deck

    Well I wont lie to you, the deck is mono red.That mean you dont have a lot of thing to say when your opponent are going ape☺☺☺☺.What you can do is to let the table try to regulate herself.Zur is going crazy?Let Sharuum deal with it and when Zur is finaly weak STRIKE!Use every opportunity you have to deal massive damage.

    It's on more casual Table that Zirilian shine at his best, all your dude are big and you have a loooot of dude.Dont overextend into Wrath effect, one or two of your dragon are usualy enought to keep everyone at bay.

    The deck is pretty straight foward, most of the interaction you will have with your board will be sacrificing dragon you fetched with Zirilian.Other then that the only thing I can say is have fun, the deck is made to satisfy the timmy in you.

    Possible Alternative

    I taught a lot about this deck, how to make him more competitive and still be mono-red.Once I'm over balancing everything I will probably post a list of a more distrubtive version of the deck with card like Ruination/Blood Moon in order to deal with the most serious table (I saw you hiding there you dirty Roffelos player!)

    Take that scute mob?Looooove this card, Bushwacker would probably want to play 1 or 2 to fetch with ranger in the late game.

    Arcun Dangson.This is personal, because of that guy (and some other) when I build a deck I HAVE to include more spot removal that I would actualy do because I dont want to lose turn 5.

    Other then that it's usualy ok, I mostly play multiplayer on mtgo so when something bad happen (Mindslaver/Sundering) people usualy jump on the culprit and beat him out of the game.

    Sure you could go rogue and try to beat the format but isn't jund just easier, stronger and cheaper?Sure you could go hyper hate on Jund then lose to the rest of the format (Aka Spread'n Sea), try to play another 3 color mid-range deck (then lose to jund unless you play 13+ hate card) or just go with the mindless null and play something stupid because ''Jund take no skillz to play lololool''

    Short Answer : Yes play Jund, it's a good deck and unless your opponent is running hate.dec most of your match-up are even to good.

    With his terrible casting cost WLL is way to narrow, at best it would just be another tool for lightsaber against jund, dodecapod is the real answer, make them think twice before throwing blightning at your face.

    Path is a 1 mana instant speed removal that can remove anything in standard (Minus shroud guys)... seriously what do you want?Sword?.

    If i'm playing control I dont care about your extra land if it mean that you wont get your token with trinax.Being able to deny your opponent creature while keeping counter mana up is pretty huge, how care if they got an extra land?

    If i'm playing aggro my path mean a bunch of damage in your face AND being able to drop creature this turn since I didn't spend a bunch of mana on a clunky O-Ring.Got a land?I got something called tempo, deal with it.

    Of course if you're a total ☺☺☺☺☺☺ and throw your path at everything in sight without tinking twice you'll eat a Mind Sludge/Baneslayer turn 4 but how care, you deserve to lose anyway.

    The fetch in the SB are just ugly as hell, why would you EVER want to waste SB slot for something that can be MD without any cost?

    Also I like how you explain that Bushwacker is a nightmare and you want to work on the match-up then procede to remove Sparkmage from your deck which are exellent Vs. Bushwacker.

    Also the blank picture made me giggle, this should be classed under Humour not T2.
