    I like the idea of Divided Attention.

    Hellish Counselor has an interesting concept, but I don't think the risk/reward factor is big enough - It probably should be 2 life each turn.

    I'm not good at judging planeswalkers, so I'll let someone take over.

    Prismcast deals 3 damage to target creature if red mana was spent to play Prismcast.
    Target player puts three 1/1 green Saproling creature tokens into play if green mana was spent to play Prismcast.

    No, Maelstrom Archangel says you don't have to pay the mana cost, and this includes the cost that the Trinisphere adds.

    The +1/+1 counters don't come back on the creature that persists. When something persists, it is treated as a new object. It comes back as a 3/2 with a -1/-1 counter on it (equivalent to a 2/1.)

    There are two parallel tracks next to each other that go from Barcelona to Madrid. The cities are 600 km apart.
    Train 1 leaves Barcelona and heads for Madrid at 120 km/h.
    At the same time, Train 2 leaves Madrid and heads for Barcelona at 80 km/h.
    When the trains meet, which one is closer to Madrid?

    Answer in spoiler:
    They're the same distance from Madrid.
